Berlin #2 "Make-Up Show" Setlist Thread

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Pretty brave of them to film a show when they don’t have a backup to splice in sections to replace what they aren’t happy with.
Unless they decide to pull from a completely different country.

I read through the “is this the end” thread. The break will be nice for them and us.

I remember back in 11 when that tour ended, 15 got here before I knew it.

Same thing in 93 and 98 and 01 and 06.

It will give us time to move on with our lives. When we meet up again, some of us will be married, some will have kids, some will have more kids.

Agreed.
The Innocence/Experience era was a fruitful one, in my opinion. It's been 5 years since Ordinary Love - after that, 2 albums and 3 tours. They deserve to take a break, but I hope they're not gone for too long.

Will they play Boy Falls from The Sky for Stan

Sad to see this era end. It feels like forever ago since SOI was released and this whole journey started.

I wonder if Sil and Co. got their GA’s...

No Mixlrs yet, but there's a finale-themed pre-show playlist tonight (similar to 360º). The Final Countdown, The Last Time, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, etc.

That's not a typo, just really confusing formatting, first both days, then both months. :)

Ahhh, the end is here (of the tour). I think we will all be glad to get back to normalcy, and the band rests their bodies and their spirits.

A couple of Mixlrs for today:

u2gigs is on Mixlr. Mixlr is a simple way to share live audio onli...
jzcanuck is on Mixlr. Mixlr is a simple way to share live audio on...

And of course... http://mixlr.com/sil-rigote--2/ complete with singing.

The date is correct - the typo is in the tour name....

Hoping they pull out some rather obscure/rare songs tonight for one last hoorah.

If they are filing a one off show in a city (well, effectively one off) there is next to no chance there will be a surprise. The closest we get to a surprise is if they slot Landlady into the chorus

Missed opportunity to start the show off with Zoo Station, it'd be so fitting.

You’d figure they’d throw them some sort of bone right? Last show...make up show?

Here’s ordinary love.

Berlin #2 "Make-Up Show" Setlist Thread

I wonder which songs will have their final ever appearance tonight.

My guesses are;
Dirty Day
13
Lights of Home
Blackout (there will be an upbeat rocker on the next album to fill this slot)
Summer of Love
Best Thing
Acrobat (unless there’s an AB30 show)

I’m guessing we’ve already heard the last of Iris, Cedarwood Rd, Raised by Wolves and Red Flag Day, All because of you.

Exactly what I was thinking. Love is All We Have Left is pretty much a given as well.

I'd love to see The Blackout played as 4 guys on stage like in the promo video, but not likely to happen.
