I've got to keep reminding myself not to get into political debates on the U2gigs Twitter account.

Simon & Garfunkel debates with cori are fine though.

 I'm surprised you haven't heard the actual song!

What can I say, I'm really not interested in most music pre-1980, and to be honest these days I barely listen to anything not from the 2010s.

I think it's refreshing to hear somebody say this. I have friends who are the exact opposite, won't hardly listen to anything post 70's. I'm 35, and feel that I really stopped absorbing new music around 27 or so (got married, had kids, became boring). I'm taking some of your suggestions at trying new bands, loving that new War on Drugs album somebody recommended.

wait so you don't like Ozzy-Sabbath?

When it comes to metal I don't really care for anything before the nineties. It took the Norwegians and the Swedes to really do anything exciting.

I'm all about what's happening now. The energy of live music is like nothing else. No good listening to most old bands for that!

Changing it up again.
