With Streets moving, the encore should be more mobile.
They could do COBL-BD/Mos(snippet)-Bad-40 and that would be a great encore.

October -> Bullet -> Zooropa -> Streets -> Pride

Holy shit. Talk about moments/songs/sting of songs that will be remembered from tours, this is it right here. Like Bad/40/Streets from Elevation.

I have to say I also really liked the sequence from Boston/New York:
Every Breaking Wave --> WOWY --> COBL --> Bullet

EBW-WOWY-COBL was great, but COBL-Bullet is a contender for one of the worst and most incoherent U2 transitions ever.

I'm surprised the band never tried segueing WOWY into Streets. It maybe could've worked.

I thought that the "blessings, blessings... BLESSINGS!" part worked quite well. It was certainly better than going into Bullet straight from Every Breaking Wave.

is bruce there?

/guess so!
//guess not

Yep. Not sure why they're sticking with it now. Feels even more forced.

I figured it's some convoluted connection to the HIV transmission speech. But I agree, it doesn't fit.

I figured it's some convoluted connection to the HIV transmission speech.

...which honestly makes it even more contorted, because that speech begins about the refugee crisis and then only gets onto HIV via a Mandela quote.

Someone on Twitter suggested that if they're really that passionate about keeping Mother & Child, use it at the end of Streets as a link to Pride. Possibly not a bad idea. But it's so inessential; nobody's going to miss it if the band abandon it.

Damn, between the small setlist tweaks and easily the best crowds of the tour, those sounded like two fantastic shows.

Also great to see all of the new material getting such a positive reception. Song for Someone and EBW turned into quite the singalongs, and it seemed like Wolves got a great response as well.

Great to see a proper U2 sequence of segues again for the first time on this tour. Only disappointment is that 2 nights no Bad. Please play Bad once per 2 nights - it's not church without it.
