Not an official review, just a rant or gloat or whatever about last night in L.A.

I have seen U2 fifteen times since 1984, and last night was one of the most intense shows I have seen them perform. All their tributes to Dennis Sheehan are well documented on Billboard.com or the Hollywood Reporter.

It was also great to be close enough to see Bono stop the band after Beautiful Day and whisper in their ears. And then hear him talk to us about "Bad", which is my favorite U2 song of all time, and he was just inspiring. So awesome. I actually got goosebumps and a little choked up.

Seeing "40" full band in it's entirety performed just like it was in the 80s was also so surreal.
