I can't see any difference. He looks exactly the same to me at least from these pics. And like Gg mentioned, sometimes you need reconstructive surgery after a body part has been smashed up, and there's almost no way any doctor can miraculously make it look exactly like it did before. And obviously the place even the tiniest change is going to be most noticeable, is the face.

The latest picture I saw, he looked pretty normal. The couple I saw before that, he kinda didn't. But they were taken at weird angles, so who the fuck knows?
Maybe Bono had a face lift while they were putting plates into his eye socket. Maybe that happened (somewhat) naturally as a result of the surgery/stitches. Maybe that happened as a result of the injury and they didn't bother to correct it. Maybe he had a facelift in the time between the first picture and the latest.
The only thing we know for sure is that we're all fucking idiots for talking about this so much.
My mom got into a car accident when I was a teenager. She hit her face on the steering wheel (it was an old car and didn't have an airbag) and broke her jaw and her eye socket. She had her jaw stitched back together and her teeth wired shut for two months. Not gonna lie, it wasn't so terrible for my stepdad and me. Regardless, the surgery she had to have just to get her jaw set back into place made her look totally different. She didn't have cosmetic or elective surgery, she just looked different because her jaw was snapped in half and her eyeball had no bones around it for a while. Facial injuries change your face. This shit happens. Maybe that's what happened to Bono.

To me, Bono doesn't look like someone who had a bad facial injury and had to have surgery to put pieces together. His face looks pretty "normal", no scar tissue or swelling. You can hide a bad arm or elbow, but not your face, since it's the most exposed part of your body. If I didn't know he had an injury, I would never guess from the last pictures.

Noel Gallagher competing with Bono to write ‘greatest song ever’
Rock star Noel Gallagher has revealed how he is vying with Bono and Chris Martin to write the greatest song of all time.
He opened up about his friendship with the Irish singer in a new Rolling Stone interview and disclosed how he has dubbed him, Father Bono.
The Oasis legend, who has just released his latest album, said he loves socialising with the U2 frontman.
He said: “Of all the people I know, he’s the most fun to hang out with, for sure. He’s a funny fucker, and he can drink.”
He also revealed he is in competition with the U2 frontman and Chris Martin to pen the ultimate song.
“I still think tomorrow might be the day that I write the greatest song of all time. It’s like going fishing.
“The guitar is your fishing rod, and if I’m not fishing for that song, Bono will get it, and if he’s not, Chris Martin will.
“And fuck those two guys, because they’ve got enough. We’re all fishing in the same river, and its cut throat”, he told the music bible.
He is amazed at the interest the U2 frontman takes in the making of his albums for his new band, the High Flying Birds.
“He’s got big ideas — for his band and for my music as well, which is astonishing. He’s always giving me titles for songs and albums. I call him Father Bono.”
The outspoken British singer said he liked U2’s new album but named Joshua Tree as one of his favourite albums of all time.
“I like (Songs of Innocence).
“Some of the greatest moments of my musical life have involved U2. Anybody who doesn’t like The Joshua Tree is a c****ucker, for a start.
“And anybody who went to see the Zoo TV tour and didn’t think it was the greatest of all time at that time is also an idiot.”
