It was ther for the Norman thru Vancouver.

It might have missed a few but extended? Not sure about that.

UC missed all of Washington through Houston - seven shows. Plus the first New York show (the show directly before the last one it was played at before its break), and a few shows in Europe.

Wait, can someone link me to the new new song? I seem to not be able to find it amidst this mess, and it's not on the front page.

EDIT: Ignore this. I found it.

I like this second new one, too. Sounds fairly unfinished---at least Edge's part does. Not sure if it'll make an appearance in the show or not...sounds too unfinished to me. Maybe they were just developing something they've been working on?

The portion that sounds like "who can guide you, guide you" at 1:55 or so sounds like a small tidbit of Chris Cornell's "You Know My Name" for Casino Royale ("The odds will betray you/and I will replace you"). :nerd:

It's so weird------the US leg is nearly a year away now. The tour is going to be so different by then. :sigh:

Bono's falsetto sounds really good at the end of the new new song.

It'll be interesting comparing the setlist of the last show (Minneapolis?) to Barcelona 1.

I know! It does mean the tour probably warrants another DVD/Blu-Ray though ;)

Think about if SOA or whatever comes out...But really, right now...I cannot wait for Friday! (or 5am Saturday my time!)

I strongly think that that the same people who do not like Stuck and IALW, will eventually get sick of the new slow song. Just my opinion....

For me, it's not about not liking Stuck and IALW, it's about them being played acoustically.

As long as they don't play this new song acoustically, then I don't see an issue.

Now to go listen to it.

Edit: HA! Should have listened first - it's acoustic! :der:

Still, it's a little different, as it's a new song, so at least if I have to suffer through something acoustic, it's not a song I'm sick of. I didn't mind Stay as the acoustic song, because I hadn't ever heard it live.

Utoo, I totally see what you mean about that bit sounding like the Cornell song. Heh.

It's not bad. I preferred the other new song, but obviously, I'm not going to be all "BLERG, IT SUCKS" until I actually here an actual version.

Actually.

 I love it. And like everyone has said, Bono's voice is sounding simply amazing. Heavenly
There was one really beautiful moment where I went ...and then a damn car honked

 I just read all the pages that I missed from last night into today. :combust:

I couldn't do it! I left on page 12 of Turin Part III... only had time at work today to get to page 14. Came home & said 'fuck it' to reading the remaining 36 pages or so before I even started Part IV. So here I am - what'd I miss?

Not Much. The tour got canceled. Edge broke his last spare guitar string. So we have to wait till they arrive from the Future.
