Yeah, tweets say he's tired and has a scratchy voice. Good thing is that he has a nine day break from performing, but has to fly to NYC and back a few times (Spiderman opens next week I think).

We have to remember that they have been touring and recording for two years, I am sure that a reason why Bono's is scratchy.

Hope I manage to stay up, West Coast shows are hard for us in the EST/AST timezones..gonna listen to some U2 on iTunes.

That too, but since the postponement and first shows in Europe last year, Bono's voice has been in top form so far. But he's just sick I guess, nothing out of the ordinary.

I've been to the Bay Area/Northern California twice in the past four years, and I just love it. Two things I'll never forget - Stanford University and sourdough bread bowls at Fisherman's Wharf All these memories make me wish I was in Oakland now.

Same here, though I doubt it. Few updates for those who haven't seen the last pages:

1) Bono is sick - tired with a scratchy voice according to U2TOURFANS who met him as he arrived at the stadium.

2) Dallas told a fan from Brazil at LAX yesterday that The Fly was being rehearsed for Glastonbury, and that there will be a "surprise" in tonight's show.

Same here - might be one of the "rotating songs" or something new. I doubt The Fly debuts tonight, hope I'm wrong though.

I think there was a rumor that The Fly would be played tonight and that SATS was being sound checked for Glasto? If they were to play either that would make this the coolest tour of all time. Make or break, U2.
