Ha! I was actually thinking about concerts in the past, like Paul McCartney and Billy Joel, and wondered about what it was like then.

It sucks, cause you can't get past the human chain, but they didn't beat us or anything LOL. They just told us to please not try to jump over them and stay where we were.

After the show they typically line up to let people out in groups to avoid a stampede.
