From neil_mccormick Preparing for #U2 gig by lying flat on my back with aching feet after exhausting domestic day. Do I really have to get on my boots?

He cracks me up sometimes.

Eew Glasvegas. :yuck: They were pretty bad in Dublin.

I'm not listening to that again.

At least it's a good sign that u2tour is live!

And wow, 8.15 for U2??? THat's gotta be the earliest they've been on stage this tour!!

Works for me though, since it'll be 9.15 here, aka regular European showtime!

ETA: This is my 37,200th post. :D

I'm comin' for ya Comet! :mac:

I was really hoping for Kaiser Chiefs, but wasn't to be.... oh well, just means I arrive later. ;)

8.15pm start is due to strict curfews in UK... sunset is due at 8.22pm today.

Yesterday the concert was at the same time, wasn't?

I saw Kaiser Chiefs with Green Day. Didn't know much about them, but I really enjoyed them. The lead singer really jumps around a lot!

8:15 Start for U2???...8:15?????So that would mean a curfew at 10:30???

Jesus, the folks in London really go to bed early, aren't they?

How on earth are they gonna manage with the Olympic in 2012?

Ricky is a great frontman and they're a perfect warm-up act. Fine in their own right too.

And yup, curfew is 10.30pm. Good ol' UK!

Start time yesterday was also 8.15. Was properly dark after about 5-6 songs.

I really hope YBR is played tonight... still, I think this is more realistic:

1) Breathe
2) No Line
3) Boots
4) Magnificent
5) Beautiful Day
6) Electrical Storm
7) One
8) UTEOTW
9) Stay
10) Unknown Caller
11) The Unforgettable Fire
12) Cobble
13) Vertigo
14) Crazy
15) SBS
16) PITNOL
17) MLK
18) Walk On
19) Streets
20) Bad
--encore break--
21) Ultraviolet
22) WOWY
23) Moment of Surrender

Lock it in... this is my prediction for tonight. It would be absolutely sacrilegious for them not to play Bad at least once at Wembley this tour... considering that it is Wembley.

Replace ES with New Years Day, and i will put my bet in this one :sexywink:

Yup.

Kaiser Chiefs are a great support for U2. Can't say that enough. :D Saw them both Paris shows and in Dublin II, Brilliant frontman, great band!

couldn't agree more! KC are a brillant band!

I have seen them by themselves at a small club and they are so incredible! Ricky crowdsurfed from the stage to the bar and sang! it was awesome!

songs rehearsed so far in this tour but not played:

IGWSHA
EBTTRT (remix)
Since tour´s first date:
Drowning Man
I Will Follow
...and latter on the tour:
You Blue Room
White As Snow (apparently)

So we have, in my opinion, four songs that could debut live in this tour tonight!
