After weeks of rumours in spanish fan websites, and other local newpapers, San Sebastian's main local newspaper El Diario Vasco announces new European date. Not confirmed by U2.com, but the journalist who signs the news is known for being very close to the local promoter who bring most of the artist to our city. He is a really reliable source.

The venue, the same of Vertigo Tour, Estadio Anoeta, total +/- 45.000 tickets.

All of you are welcome!!!!

I don't think this has been confirmed. There are a lot of rumoured European dates that have also been inofficially "confirmed" by various newspapers, but no official confirmation so far. Maybe we should wait before we open up threads for these dates.

This seems to be the only exception of a soccer stadium that normally is occupied for the competition. Wondering how they will do that with the soccer scheme. But great news for Donostia!

When they make the draw for the season, can condition so that week Real Sociedad plays away.

And the logistics are excellent in Anoeta to set up the stage.

All of you are welcome in Donostia!!!!! See you next 26 th September.

I think Coimbra is a football stadium too?

This is how the Don Valley pitch looked a few days after the concert

So it is possible - just not pretty:lol: Im sure Real Sociedad have a bit more clout than Rotherham Utd, who basically rent the Don Valley, so wouldn't probably have benifited too much financially from the gig
