Yeah, the stadium is nowehere close to downtown. I thought by venue you meant the pub!
 
Yes, the pub.

Your best bet to get around would be public transport.

BUT, let this be a warning to all of you: Summer in Montreal is VERY humid. Almost unbearingly so. Metro cars and buses are NOT air conditioned, so be ready for some uncomfortable situations.

It's the one positive that Toronto has over Montreal: air conditioned vehicles.
 
Yup. I experienced that last summer. VERYVERYVERY hot in the subway.
 
Has there been a lot of humidity up your way this spring/summer? I only live an hour and a half from Montreal, and it hasn't been too bad. (I haven't taken out the air conditioner yet). Must be my location (higher elevation).

That humidity isn't too bad. Where I live, humidity of about 80% is pretty normal in the summertime with temps in the 80s...

But you live(d?) in Florida so you can handle anything! :p
 
I went through three shirts per day last year......... I'm prepared to do laundry at the hotel this time around.

:lol: Wow that doesn't look big at all. But what I was wondering... where the heck does the band stay, and their entourage and all the techs and stuff? There's literally NOTHING around there!

That's great because it means there are less places in which they can be which means they're easier to be found... :D
 
The pub is higher on my list of priorities. I wish I was there a bit longer. So much to do, so little time.
