Cori, have you figured out which route you are taking through Maine? I seem to remember a post waaaaaay back in the other thread that had a coastal route and a more inland route. I would love to try the coastal route, as long as it doesn't take forever.
 
I was planning on taking the interstate right up through the border and then the inland route to Moncton, and then (assuming I don't sleep til noon on Sunday, which is highly unlikely) the coastal route back. :)
 
I think we are doing the exact opposite! We are driving UP during the day, so we will probably do the coast then. We are leaving right after the show, and driving home (since we both have to work Monday), so I think we will do the Interstate then, and hopefully its quicker!

I think I'm just going to stay with my Camper's City reservation. Concert Camping seems like it might be a bit crazy.

I believe part of the reason there are no campfires is that it is too close to town, and they don't like the smoke. That's what my campground said anyway.
 
Nah, I've got other gals who just booked at concert camping, and we're going to have a little troop of single gal travelers. :)
 
I would have considered that for parking since it looks to be included. But I got a local guy that is letting me park. I warned him of my early time. :huh:
 
Has anyone heard if we can park AT the casino? It's within walking distance to the show, and I was planning on visiting it and "donating", before I head over to the show.

This is what I'm doing. Tough I am quite familiar with coastal Maine, it's still a fun experience.
 
Yeah, I have no idea where I'm going to put my car for the show... I should figure that out.

Did I mention I'm staying at a dairy farm? How cool is at?!
 
Hey Guys,
So I have GA ticket for Moncton, July 30th in hand and need to sell it, I have put it on Kijiji and no luck so far..I live in the Toronto area..anyone know someone who needs one? I am asking a little less then face value..60$. Right now I hope I am still going but have another means for a ticket and if I can't go want to make sure someone else gets to enjoy the show.

Also, I forgot to mention that the homeowner is giving all the proceeds from the parking to a local Juvenile Diabetes foundation.

Okay guys, I actually spoke to a guy that works for the promotor (Donald K Donald Events) and he explained that the main Gate where the lineup will start is where the Green arrow is on the map.

That being said since I am in a Motel about 7 kms away, I wanted to find parking very close to the site so that we can go back and forth to the rental. I made some calls and actually secured parking for $30 at the house directly beside Atlantic Violin Supplies (the Red Balloon at the top of the page). Very nice guy and has room for more cars. If you are interested then PM me and I will pass along his information.

The only negative is that Front Mountain Road will most likely be closed until 1:00AM but I'm not too concerned about that since I will most likely be too wound up after the show and wouldn't mind chilling out and taking my time.

He's a super nice guy. He won't be taking many more reservations because he also hosts a fundraiser for people to listen to the show on his lawn.
