I was fortunate to be able to see both Sept 16 and 17th shows. I aggree that the 17th overall was a better show with a much better vibe.
I was given GA seats by my friend that works at RIM. RIM gave out 20k tickets which probably explains why the first show did not have a typical U2 feel. At lot of those 20k RIM tickets where probably given to people who just wanted to be seen there for a free show rather than true fans.
RIM also did this a few years back for a private Van Halen/Tragically Hip show at the ACC. The show was also lame and didn't have a typical feel of a VH concert and I saw VH 2 other times on the the same tour and the shows were much better than the free RIM show. Not that I am complaining getting free VH and U2 tickets!
Anyways, I made a fatal error trying to get 4 tickets together for the July 3 2010 show and as a result I had to settle for 3 $97 tickets together in the 500 level.
The first show I was in GA about 10 rows back from the front ramp and the second show I was in section 118. Both were great vantage points but provided different experiences.
For the summer concert I am in the 500 level. Section 530 row 6. I would appreciate any information/feedback from anyone who has had tickets in the 500 level close to this section. I am a bit concerned about the location of the seats since I had such good seats for the previous 2 shows.
Thanks
