Bono started hanging up the jacket in Norman, Phoenix, or Las Vegas. There was a discussion about it at the time, if I remember correctly. He wasn't doing it in Houston - I was at that show.

Yes, i believe it was one of these shows. He was not doing it in NY or Boston, but I did see it and was surprised in Vegas. Then again at Rose Bowl and Vancouver. And of those 3, the exact timing (in the song) of the jacket raised to the heavens was PERFECT at vegas show imo.

Ah I wasn't aware he did it last year as well. Thought it was just for the Rose Bowl show and he continued it this year.
