Obviously you have a restricted perspective so i doubt verry much your opinion. Well if you like the tour than go ahead and enjoy it but you will NEVER see 5 or more U2 Tours in your life thats for sure so enjoy them as much as you can they will dissapear faster you can imagine!!!!

umm...i've seen 5 U2 tours in my life. the fact that you would make that assumption without knowing me shows that you're obviously someone who should not be taken seriously.

1. NLOTH: You have 7 new songs, 3 of them already are singles.

2. From the album before, HTDAAB, you play two tracks: Vertigo and COBL. Both of them are singles.

3. From their 'comeback':D album ATYCLB, U2 played on a regular basis five tunes. First IALW, which was a non-single but not by chance was taken out of the setlist from the 2nd half of the leg on. The other four tunes (BD, Elevation, SIAMYCGOO, WO) are all – singles!
The inbetween ATYCLB and HTDAAB tune, Electrical Storm, which unfortunately was too seldom performed by the way was a single, too.

4. From POP you again show no courage to play even one tune ...

5. From ZOOROPA you only play one tune: It is called "Stay" – and it was the album's lead single!

6. From ACHTUNG BABY you play, apart from the regular exceprion UV and the much rarer exception UTEOTW only the hit-singles: One, MW

7. From RATTLE AND HUM, the band first went to play, now you should really have guessed the 360 pattern:D:D:D, two singles: Desire and AOH – only to be thrown out of the later European setlists.

8. From TJT, we get the first three tunes – which were all singles, by the way.

9. Apart from the rare "Bad" and the snippeted "MLK", the regular choices for TUF are the title track and "Pride" – which are all, yes, singles.

10. And the last album to date to be played looking back is WAR, with SBS and NYD being the known Greatest Hits singles...

Even with the beautiful "Your Blue Room" played in a shabby way, 360 is a U2 singles' tour – a much more stable tour (and IMO in parts simply boring and too much ruled by the machine).

Which tours did you attend, if I may ask?

Okay, and you believe in 360 being better than Vertigo – that is what I call missing reality ...:D

I don't think you've actually seen me make a call yet, for I haven't seen 360 yet. But the "logic" that I've seen to make the case for Vertigo over 360 is extremely flawed and being argued by mostly "nostalgia" fans.

I'm not in this idiotic debate, but, I've now seen six tours:

JT
Zoo TV
Popmart
Elevation
Vertigo
360

That does not make my opinion weightier than someone who has seen them less, just saying that some of us have seen them often, and over many many years.

For the record, I still prefer the Vertigo Tour, but that has more to do with set list choices than anything else.

Again, you can not get away with such a nonsense answer. I am not nostalgic – and you simply do not want to/are not able to find more convincing arguments/facts than me. Isn't it?

100% agreed, it all has to do with the set list choices – nothing more, nothing less. That is why I prefer Vertigo to 360 ... By the way: Where did you see them in 1987? How would you rank your feelings then to Vertigo or 360?

Obviously is that beside the first single Boots every other release of the album has been failed to get a chart position wich means that the majority of the people doesn´t care about U2 single releases from NOLTH.

Obviously is to see that the Vertigo Single releases has made their chart position even in the later releases wich shows that also those songs found their customers.

Right now U2 Material is about to get more and more dust in their shelves on it. In this result we can come to a conclusion that the new material wich you praise as the best ever isn´t seen by the majority of the people wich comes to the clue that it is only for you personally the best but not for the rest of the world.:hmm:

 More facts ... Now where are the 360 defenders, praising the tour being better than Vertigo '05/'06? Hm, they seem to have left the battlefield. Better so, I guess...

well, if you guys are going to use chart positions to argue which tour is better, than i'm going to start using ticket sales to my advantage when arguing which of Edge's guitar solos is my favorite.

Maybe it would just be easier, if you could name the facts/points, why you think 360 is better than Vertigo?:D

any more questions .....:wink::hmm:

Maybe it would just be easier, if you could name the facts/points, why you think 360 is better than Vertigo?:D

because i don't feel the need to change other people's opinions. i personally liked the 360 Tour better, and i'm comfortable with that. my original post saying that i was "confirming" which tour is better was pretty much making fun of the fools who feel the need to post facts or YouTube videos to justify their opinion. and if that's what you feel you need to do, well maybe you're not comfortable in your own skin. unfortunately, i can't help you with that.

Thanx, Dr. House for this analysis – which is, unfortunately, wrong. Why did you like 360 better, then? The question is still not answered ... This is not because "to change others' opinions" – I just long to understand, what you personally prefered to '05/'06 ...

well, before i go on, i need to know what i win if i do indeed win this argument.

There is no winner: What did you prefer? The show as a spectacle? The stage? The atmosphere? The set list? The mass crowd reaction? Just let me know, so I understand your point of view ...

100% agreed, it all has to do with the set list choices – nothing more, nothing less. That is why I prefer Vertigo to 360 ... By the way: Where did you see them in 1987? How would you rank your feelings then to Vertigo or 360?

Brendan Byrne arena, May 1987.

I've never seen a concert as amazing as that show, so I cannot begin to compare it to 360 or Vertigo. It was transcendant. I hoenstly had no idea how moving music could be until that show.
