Rumours of a 2012 Europe indoor AND outdoor tour

U2place.com says that beyond the ending of 360 in Moncton we all heard of, it appears the band's intentions are to design a new stage and a completely different show (compared to 360) to support the new album - currently in the process of being recorded - to be released next year.

With the album's release, the tour is to start in 2012 eastern Europe* and then go across the continent. The tour is said to be taking place in both arenas and stadiums.



* perhaps this is related to the Romania rumours...

Demand will certainly be there for a European tour next summer, especially an arena/stadium mix. This is very interesting.

For those who don't believe the tour will come so quickly after 360, just remember that the 360 tour has been VERY easy on the band. In fact, they've only played 19 shows in the last 6 months! 26 shows left from May-July, then they'll be back off the road again. Seems pretty doable to me. Hopefully this comes to fruition, and then they will tour US arenas soon too! (AKA they might come back to Ohio!!)
