Wow - that was not as smooth as I thought it would go but I got what I wanted so I'm happy.

Basically, hit refresh until it all showed up. Entered by info (I wanted 2 GA to Giants Stadium). Entered the words, then waited about 10 seconds (it said it would be "less than 4 minutes") then got some error messages. Had to start over twice but eventually got 'em so I'm happy.

Hope everyone else got what they wanted.

price breakdown for Giants Stadium (which is a generic shaped US stadium):

lowest level $250 and $95 available
mezzanine (middle level) $250, $95 and $55
upper tier $95, $55, and $30

each color section on the seat map is listed under 'section' pull down. pick that 1st. then pick the price pull down. only ticket prices available in that section will show up.

thats the same TM has always worked for giving detail on what seat locations are what prices.

Yankees tickets are going on sale this morning @ 10am. So the systems are probably overloaded. Every Yankee game on sale. 81 of them....

Did you just use the links from the U2 emails and then fill in the info once it brings you to the ticketmaster site?

Got my 4 GA for Boston. I specified field level, standing room only. The first time, I got an error saying "There was an error processing your request." I Hit Continue, and after a minute or so it came back with the tickets for me. I didn't have to re-select them.

Got my tix for Boston! :hyper:

For Boston...

There will be a field next to the drop down for the price level that you enter your pre-sale code. Once you make your choices of how many, what price level, where you'd like to sit, etc, you'll be taken to a login screen, log in if you are already registered. If not, you'll have to fill out your address, etc. The next is your payment screen. Fill out your info then click on the Submit button.

I got an error message twice when trying to submit the number of tix and where I'd like to be and on the 3rd try it went all the way through. Third times a charm! :applaud:

All done in under 2-3 minutes!

Good luck!

that was an odd experience

I got 4 GA tix for Toronto

first time, it told me that the $32 tix are for 500 level, 4 seats available, cancel those
then selected 4 GA tix, section was not listed on TM site originally at 10am

got 4 tix listed, selected pick up, then TM site said I'm passed my alloted time

then had to do the whole process again to finally get the 4 GA tix

argh

Got GA for Gillette
Then did some research on sections, best pair they offered for $252 was section 130 row 29.
Best offered for $97.50 was 109 row 12. Definitely far better value in section 109, only 2 sections further down.

I just got one in section 109 for Boston and it was only $97! I figured the whole lower level was going to be $250, except maybe in the back. I pulled up a seat two sections over for $250, then tossed it back and decided to try again for the mid-range tickets. The first $97 ticket I'd pulled up was high up behind the stage, but this section is even with the end of the outer catwalk!

:hyper:

Just got one GA for Giants Stadium!

Got in at 2 minutes after. Busy there for 2 minutes but i got it!

:)

Online banking reflects it too so i know it went through.

Back to bed now.

I just got my 2 GA tix for Boston!:applaud::applaud::applaud: I'm so relieved it's done! It went smoothly except I got an error message b/c I messed up and didn't choose general admission so when I hit the back button of course I got an error message and had to start again. I was done by 10:04! :hyper:

:reject: VIP in Toronto for myself and Wenda (who doesn't even know I got them yet haha)

I won some money at the casino over the weekend, and waiting for 'Boots' would have killed me. So poor people have rich feelings :hyper: The checkout process was a pain in the ass, as nothing was stored for the ticketstoday site. but I *think* I got great seats. Section 113C row 7. Worth it? Maybe not, but it was literally playing with free money. Good luck everyone else!

Got 2 great seats for TO Section 130c row 13...no hassels, kept refreshing until 10:00, had my presale code in copy, and then held my breath as my husband said yes, buy them if we have to we can always sell them :hyper:
Here's hoping the economy gets better so I don't have to sell them

Im in

here's how it works. each color section on the seat map is listed under 'section' pull down. pick that 1st. then pick the price pull down. only ticket prices available in that section will show up.

$14.30 service charge per ticket and $3.00 processing fee. so much for $57.50 for GA tix, not that that has anything to do with U2.

I know that fee = :madwife:

Easy as pie, 4 for Toronto!! :hyper:

Confirmation number + email obtained @ 10:02

:hi5: See you in Toronto.

Next up Chicago. :crack:

I'm holding out hope for an additional NY show. I went online for the heck of it and could have gotten 2 GAs or 2 in SEC 109 (1 in SEC 109 produced 4th row ) but that Thursday show is the day after returning from a trip abroad. I really hope they announce a Friday (or even better, a Saturday) show soon.

Got my Giant Stadium GAs...a few ticketmaster hiccups but overall pretty painless..

Whew!!! That was pretty painless! For Gillette I requested 4 seats lower level and first came up with section 134--NO, then section 141--HELL NO! Finally section 130--YES, YES, YES!! Just what I wanted!

Not sure how to tell hubby I just spent $1000---this better be worth it!:hyper:
