Youtube is retarded.

I got a camcorder, and recorded me playing some song, and the quality is good, but it is saved in .wmv format, and unless I make it really low quality, youtube doesnt upload wmv videos. I've tried converting it to other formats, but the sound quality is even worse. Any solutions? Btw I dont care about video quality as much as I do about sound quality.

Maybe try Vimeo? I've been using that instead of YouTube.

ASF is a WAY old codec...What kind of camera saved them in that format? Can you capture the footage in a better format?

obviosuly a cheap camera. My mom got it for me though, so I won't say anything about it. It doesn't save in any other file format. Although I found a program that got it onto youtube in decent quality
