Torrent help for Mac OSX

Hi everyone,

I've started downloading torrents again and wanted to see if anyone could suggest good programs for Mac OSX.

I'm currently using BitTorrent for my downloads, but I'm not sure if there's a better program that people would reccomend.

Also, I'm not sure what to use to convert the FLACs into WAVs (or some other format I can use with iTunes).

I had xACT installed in a previous computer, but that one died (suspiciously, not too long after installing both BitTorrent and xACT).

For Torrents I prefer Transmission.

For converting FLACs I use xACT to convert to WAV then convert to AAC or Apple Lossless with iTunes. If there is a better way I would love to know about it.

yeah, i have to do the same thing, use one program to convert to wav, then use itunes to convert to whatever format i choose.

Is there a reason you convert FLACs to WAV and then to AAC or Apple?
I just go FLACs to AIFFs. Is it a size thing or a lossy thing?

Just curious.

Never used AIFF to be honest. I'll have to check it out...
