SM Bus Controller?

Does anyone know what this is and what I use to install it?
After installing Service Pack 2, then uninstalling it, I now have a SM Bus Controller

ok, here's my best guess...
you always had a SM bus controller, it's part of your motherboard, and... my guess is the drivers for it got uninstalled when you uninstalled SP2.

^Yes, you most likely uninstalled the driver for the SM Bus Controller and need to reinstall it.
