Microsoft Word question.

I have Microsoft Office Word 2003 installed on my computer. However, since I didn't actually buy the software it came installed on my computer as trial version only and I can only use it to view Word documents and cannot alter them in anyway.

I want to install an older version of Word on my computer but is this likely to cause me any problems?

Uninstall the trial and install your older Word.
I didn't want to cough up $150 for the new Word so I installed Word 2000 in my new laptop and everything works fine. I don't need all those fancy features anyways.

Yeah, what Pla said. I still use Office XP (the one before 2003) and it works fine. I have no trouble with my documents using Office 2003 at work and school.

Thanks for the replies - I did as you both said and it appears to be working OK!
