Another question...

I went to update the other night and when it told me I had filled capacity and would make me a main playlist I hit "okay". Then today when I went to find my "recently added" playlist, it was gone, along with all my other playlists.

I went to update tonight, but first thought I'd delete the April's Playlist one, to see if that could make my old playlists work. So I go to update, and it tells me "Cannot update as all playlists have been deleted"

My songs are fine and all there in iTunes, but I've tried updating three times and it just loads my podcasts. :scream:

Did I majorly fuck up, or is this something I can fix?

not sure exactly what the problem is, but if all your songs are on the computer then you should be able to fix it.

there's a list of 5 things that are supposed to fix most problems

i'd guess #2 is not relevant. but how many of the others have you tried? try restarting the computer & reseting the ipod. if that doesn't work try restoring the ipod.

April, do you have an Apple store close to your home?
If you do, you can make an appointment to talk to a Mac "genius" (That's what they call them) ...and a tech will restore for you ........for free.
Just go into apple.com and find the closest store based on your zip code and call them up....

a little off topic, but i would like to mention that the DLO Transpod FM Transmitter is the coolest thing i've ever purchased, besides my new IPOD, of course.
