Converting MOV??

Hello you techs!!

I'm having trouble converting a MOV video I need for school

Actually it's the audio, I'm using MOV to AVI MPEG WMV Converter, and I get a bullet-like sound

I put AVI, even changed the audio codecs, then WMV, then MPEG but no way. And I know the source file is undamaged... any suggestions please??

What's the reason for changing it? I think Quicktime plays .mov and it's a free program.

Yeah, I know, but I must edit it so I need it to work with Win Movie Maker, so that I can later make a DVD out of the whole thing
