What's it for? Just curious, b/c changing a bitmap or gif image to a JPEG type will compress it and ruin the quality. Don't do it to something you plan on printing.

Download and use that program. MS Paint will fsck up your image as it has bad image compression to JPEG, especially with red.

Is there a reason a bitmap won't work? If there is, I'd go with a gif image instead. However, don't use MS Paint, use something better like FireWorks. You can change the bmp to a gif with no change in size or quality. Paint is not a good program for editing stuff you want to print.

actually i was thinking of using zazzle.com to make one of those africa shirts bono wears. but it requires a jpeg
