Chromecast/Roku Sticks

Does anyone have either of these, specifically Chromecast? Saw it for sale for $29.99 and was curious how well it works. I know they just added Flixster which is awesome, as I have a bunch of Ultraviolet movies there.

So you basically control it using your phone/laptop/ipad?

I know the roku one has a control, but its 50 dollars.

I splurged on the Matricom MX2 G-Box. It's beyond amazing. I may have to get one for every TV. Roku is out for me because I like getting my TV and movies without the use of subscription services

Comes with a remote and you can get a remote with a keypad/touchpad combo, but the apps available for every smartphone/tablet work way better so I just leave an old android phone on the coffee table for everyone else and use my iPhone for myself.
