Say what? That's Risky Business.

Maybe my sarcasm detector is broken.

From a consensus type thread from another forum I did recently, here though, filtering myself to one film per director, a reasonable top 10 for me:

Flight of the Red Balloon (Hou, 2007)
The End of Summer (Ozu, 1961)
In The Mood for Love (Wong, 2001)
Taste of Cherry (Kiarostami, 1997)
The New World (Malick, 2005)
Three Colors: Red (Kieslowski, 1994)
Carlito's Way (De Palma, 1993)
The Long Day Closes (Davies, 1992)
Melo (Resnais, 1986)
A Touch of Zen (Hu, 1971)

Considering that I will stop what I'm doing & watch these any time they're on - regardless of the fact that I have several of them on DVD & could watch them any time I please - I'd have to say my faves are:

The Wizard of Oz
The Princess Bride
North by Northwest
A Christmas Story
Sixteen Candles
The Breakfast Club
Meet Me in St. Louis

Interesting tastes in movies everyone!!! I also have one movie(it is not my favourite movie, but I love it) that I saw one year ago and made me cry for the entire night,"Hachiko". Richard Gere was amazing in this movie!!! And this dog was so cute that through out the whole movie,I was only saying how sweet he was!!!:cute: Is it only me who cried with this???
