*I felt the Oscars got this category wrong for most of the decade and Return of The King was an easy choice.

this made me realise the last time i watched any of an oscars ceremony was 2003. wow.

Supporting Actor was the toughest to call, some great and memorable performances in there.

When you look back at the decade, its stunning that the supporting actor winners seem to be so much better on the whole than the lead actor winners. Like not even close.
