What's even more amazing is that when DeVito shows up in Season 2 - it actually gets better.

I wasn't sure where season 1 ended and season 2 began, since both seasons are on 3 discs. But Devito showed up in the first episode I watched last night, so there it was!

I was laughing so hard at the Charlie Gets Crippled episode, where he was dressed up like a Vietnam vet and just ranting away.

The fact that he chooses the Gary Sinise in Forrest Gump look over an actual military uniform right next to it was probably my favorite part of that sequence.

one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. I can't believe this has been on for 5 seasons without me knowing anything about it.

The wife and I are in season 2 already.

Thanks to all for recommending this.

I still need to see season 5 (hopefully should be coming up next from Netflix), but I'm going to start watching the new season anyway. I figure I won't be lost.

What time on Thursday? 10? I might be pretty heavily drunk by then.

I never thought about it that way. Two dudes getting married? That doesn't sound very gay.

Judging by the relative silence, you guys are with me in thinking the premiere (not to mention the rampant product placement) was a tremendous disappointment.

It was a relatively weak episode.

It was the first episode my roommate's seen. He didn't like it much. Then again, I did a survey and he actually doesn't own a single thing in our room. It's shockingly true.

I thought it was pretty funny. Not anywhere near their best, but also not a huge disappointment.

The biggest laugh for me was when what's his name wanted to show Dee the pictures of his kids (paraphrasing):

"No no no. Nobody wants to see that. GOD DAMN, this has been a wonderful trip down memory lane."

The Gang Gives Frank an Intervention might be my favorite episode from the show. I don't think there's anything funnier then Frank busting in the door with his gun drawn yelling "Where's the fire!?"
