Was anyone watching this week?
They were talking about how Paris Hilton vowed to change the world after jail, and she was out partying, drinking, dancing, and hugging people at a club last weekend.
Then Joel goes, "Paris Hilton: Changing The World One Drunken Hug At A Time....Take that Bono!"

I totally love "The Soup" and think it's way better than "Best Week Ever" (although I do like that show) because "The Soup" gets such great random stuff and isn't mainly a platform for F-list star wannabes.

I'm deeply disturbed by how ignored this thread has been. I'll bring it back with my all-time favorite Soup clip.

*winatlife* The song that kicks in at 37 seconds is what makes it.

There was a bit of talk about this show toward the end of the "Dancing With The Stars" thread...been meaning to bring the thread for it back up.

Who here's been watching the specials? I loved the "Daytime TV" moments one tonight.

I watched that! It was terrific! I'm watching the game show one now, and it's even better.

I'm loving this clip right now.

LOL, that was great. I love the Tom Sizemore bit-it's just so random . And the game show episode...oh, man, that kid at the spelling bee...I pictured the rest of the contestants sitting there doing this throughout: .

"I've never had dried apples. What are they?" . I loved that "What the Kids are Watching" segment from tonight (what was with the hands and the glue...?).

Though that girl with the female anatomy puppet thing was good, too: "Obviously we don't have velvet and satin and pretty bows, so don't be surprised if you look down there and don't see this" ... And the "Passions" clip cracked me up, too.

This remains one of my favorite "Soup" moments:

You're welcome ! I'll second your over the show, heh.

Hope you enjoy the show when you catch it-it's a good one. I always love it when he pokes fun at shows like "The View" or "Tyra" (how about that attempt at a sex talk she was giving to that one guy on last Friday's show? Stem? Petals?) or "Nancy Grace".

I love how completely low-rent "The Soup" is. It sort of reminds me of SNL when it first began, like you know it's run by a staff of like five people or something.

man-kini,

dancing maxi-pad,
indestructilble cheerleader,
little gay.

That's all I can think of

Yeah, it's a bit refreshing, isn't it? I also love how they aren't above poking fun at themselves, too-"Do you ever get the feeling we're just killing time on this show?" .

Man-kini makes me laugh. And Lou is a cutie.

Oh yeah, the Tyra stuff is hilarious! "Panty Party!!!" or "Kiss My Fat ASS!"

And i love the Nancy Grace stuff too! I also love how he has no problem ripping on the E! reality shows and how awful they are! Like the Kardashians, every week, "Kim, who's famous for having a big ass and a sex tape..."

. I'm sure the people at E! must love that, but eh... There was one comment about Nancy he made a few weeks ago I found rather funny: "If I had to choose between being tied to Nancy Grace or being lightly fondled in a Wal-Mart...". And who can forget the clip of Tyra shouting, "ME!" while pointing at herself.

I also love watching him make fun of "The Insider", because that show annoys the bejesus out of me.

I was just starting to love this show, but now I can't find it here in Canada anymore. Is it still on Star?
