I think Emmerson's role as a teacher in the side universe eneded up being a great prep and showing a different milder in demeanor, a more honorable person and a "lead-in" for his role here in POI.

I mostly followed it and had a friend plus Pedia of Interest to dot the i's & t's on the happenings. I liked it with Shaw being a part of that whole set of threads.
