Did they silence out the crowd during the montage? Gandolfini was first, and there was some applause for him, and then not one iota for anyone else.

Maybe they had sudden second thoughts about applauding for death?

My guess is that they told people not to clap, as it just turns into a "who gets the most applause" contest, and at first some people forgot.
 
Isn't Idina Menzel considered to be the Queen of Broadway? I expected better vocals. Let It Go is getting 'Best Song' anyways.
 
Nope. I'm the classy type who'd hand off a Pez dispenser and make the person next to me laugh inappropriately.

Ha, thanks for distracting me with this post so I could tune out Let It Go.
 
Well, that was the first time I'd heard that. I'm a little disappointed. I love her work from Wicked, but she oversang the hell out of that.

Still reserving my judgement until I see the film though.
