Saw pictures of Christina Applegate and she looked amazing after all that she's been through. I loved her dress. Kate Walsh and Evangeline Lily looked gorgeous too!

LOST got robbed.

And is 30 Rock really that good? I might need to start watching that show.

Mad Men's the shit, have you seen it?

I'd say it's on par with The Office, Conchords and Always Sunny as one of the funniest shows on TV.

I echo YLB's sentiment on 30 Rock, although I'd argue it's the best of that bunch.

Weeds also deserves consideration in that league. Californication might depending on its upcoming second season.

Yeah, the few episodes I've seen of Mad Men were really well done. And January Jones is a fox. It probably deserved it, but I'm just a total LOST junkie/fanboy/apologist, etc.

And yeah I'm gonna start watching 30 Rock this year. I don't know why I hadn't before. Every clip I've seen of Alec Baldwin's character has been hilarious.

I've been meaning to watch Weeds for the longest time. Once I'm caught up with all of Mad Men, I'll make that my next TV goal.

Fair enough.

My favorite episode of 30 Rock was the one with Paul Reubens as the deformed German monarch... I don't think anything's made me laugh that hard on TV in recent memory besides Prison Mike.

I am just watching the beginning on tivo now,
and I don't care if I get spoiled by looking in here

but, I will say Oprah's opening was boring
and she needs to bet back on the slimfast before she kills herself

Heidie Klum looks great in her suit.

and in her hot pants

I'm incredibly disturbed by how hot I'm finding Josh Groban.

And OH MY GOD, his South Park theme song was awesome. Who knew he did impressions? The whole TV theme bit was cheesy but well done.

Josh Groban, I'm sorry if I've judged you harshly in the past. From now on when someone mentions you, I will think fondly upon this night.

wow,
Bryan Cranston for Breaking Bad
this show is really good and Bryan is the heart of it.

Yes, it was a good field

but, this guy was more worthy than Spader or Jon Hamm
and I am a big Mad Man fan.

that's it? Barely 3 pages of posts?

Glad Mad Men won Best Drama
WTG Tina Fey
The Daily Show & Stephen Colbert

I love when they announce the nominees for best writing in a comedy series - fave part every year. Also enjoyed Ricky Gervais / Steve Carell.

And wow, Tommy Smothers

And Josh Groban - that was cool!

I tried to watch it, I got bored. The Desperate Housewives disturbed me with the way they all looked so frozen. I don't get Jeremy Piven, I've never seen Entourage but is he really that great? He is a prick but a sexy one imo, but definitely sexy only from a distance-when you get up close and get to know him my sense is that it's most definitely an ew. I've never seen 30 Rock or many of the other shows. Michael Emerson ripped off again, at least he won once for The Practice.

Where was Spader, I never saw Spader Julia Louis Dreyfuss looked gorgeous, I LOVED the color of her dress. I've always thought she's beautiful.

Ricky Gervais/Steve Carell
Josh Groban

I'm curious about 30 Rock too now.

Too bad, The Office didn't win anything.

30 Rock is an excellent show, I highly recommend it. Although The Office is still number 1 for me, 30 Rock is a close number 2. The characters are amazing, and it's laugh out loud funny. I'm glad it's being recognized.

Mrs S, I agree with both the boredom - the show kind of lost me after the first hour, and I was really looking forward to it! - and with the Michael Emerson comment. That's the award that I cared most about all night. He knocked it out of the park last season, and he really deserved it.

I am so happy for "Mad Men" Also, Don Rickles is hilarious. He should've been the host last night.

I love that 30 Rock won so many awards!

Jeremy Piven always looks so skeezy to me. I've never seen the show, but I don't care. I was rooting for anyone but him to win. The guy just bugs me.

Ricky Gervais = awesome.

The reality hosts? Lamest shit EVER. I don't want anyone ever to bitch about anyone's hosting abilities any more for any award show. Hands down, this will always be the worst, and anything will be better than this.

The problem I have with Piven is that I get the sense the character he plays in Entourage is pretty much who he really is.
