I saw him walking around the tarmac in Pittsburgh this week and he has gotten really obese. Could barely button up his coat. He’s tall and hides it well when you only see his face/chest on TV but he’s totally wide like a barrel and has an enormous ass. This is the least problematic thing about him BUT it shows that he’s eating like crazy and that catches up. Of course his annual physical will have him at 15% body fat.

LOL, well, that's quite an interesting picture, Headache :D.

Apology accepted!
Public Radio has been keeping an eye on him. I see he might have a chance of being voted out. :fingerscrossed:

Yeah, seems he's been catching the national spotlight a lot lately. If it helps shine a light on his insanity and further encourages people to kick him out, though, I'm all for it.

One funny thing regarding King-I've been seeing a political ad here lately featuring Republicans who are talking about how they're voting for Scholten this year because they can't support King and his racist views. There's one lady in there who talks about how she's a lifelong Republican, and to further establish her right-leaning credentials, she says she's spent years listening to Rush Limbaugh.

I'm all for hearing from Republicans who are just as sick of King as anyone else, but that part of the ad always catches me weird, 'cause I would think that the people who listen to Limbaugh and the people who support King would generally be one and the same.

Where, oh where, are those Apprentice tapes?

Does it even matter? I mean, whose mind would it change? Is there a single person in America would would say "OMG Donald Trump is a racist! There goes my vote?" Is anybody THAT slow on the uptake?

I know I've mentioned him to you off & on the past 2 yrs- because his last name i s the same as a fairly well know in the NYS/City area conservative republican here in Long Island; Peter King.

So glad both Stephan Colbert and Seth Meyers will be doing live election shows- I'll need the laughs!

I would tend to think a Limbaugh fan would be a stumpy supporter.

Maybe? The more real examples that can be found....

there may be always be somebody who needs those extra blatant quotes.

There is such a visceral reaction to that specific word, I feel like it would make a difference.

Of course, some would feel like he’s just being honest, and saying in public the words they say I private all the time. So ...

I noticed this in the recent video of him failing to close an umbrella. He looks huge, thought maybe I was imagining it. I mean, I suppose it's neither here nor there, but seeing someone else mention it did make me go, "OK, so I did see that."

They would just say the tapes are fake. Just like the Access Hollywood tape. It's insane-anything that doesn't fit the narrative that Trump is their perfect leader hero is dismissed as fake and a lie. It's cult like worship.

And anyone wouldn't do that just doesn't care that he's racist and sexist.

'I was angry and I sent it': Another Kavanaugh accuser referred to FBI after recanting

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...er-referred-fbi-doj-investigation/1863210002/

Grassley has thus far asked federal authorities to investigate: Julie Swetnick, who accused Kavanaugh of drunken behavior and sexual assault; Michael Avenatti, her lawyer who also represented porn star Stormy Daniels in a suit against President Donald Trump; and a man, who was never publicly identified but recanted an allegation he'd made against Kavanaugh.

Munro-Leighton was brought into the saga after a graphic and anonymous letter was sent to Sen. Kamala Harris in California. The letter included a story about Kavanaugh and another male groping, sexually assaulting and ultimately raping a woman in a vehicle after a party.

The letter was signed by a Jane Doe from Oceanside, Calif.

The allegations came amid a number of other stories from women, including Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who claimed Kavanaugh had assaulted them when they were in high school or college.

The timing of the request could help reignite Kavanaugh's role in the midterm elections. Both Republicans and Democrats say all the controversy surrounding his confirmation could help boost voter engagement in Tuesday's election.

I dunno. Seems silly that it comes to this. Democrats crossed their arms and humph’d when Gorsuch was nominated but that’s old news now.

Don’t you think the republicans could’ve just asked for someone else when it came to Kavanaugh? It appears to me this was a show of force.

Well since Ginsburg is probably the next to go, I’m sure the Dems are already going through Amy Coney Barrett’s husband’s yearbooks and calling women

And if they are and they find some janky fucked up shit, what do you say?

And if the republicans did the same thing and found some janky fucked up shit, what would you say?

(Assuming this wasn’t someone’s spouse but rather that individual themself)

Same thing I always say....give him or her due process and find out if it’s true. Obviously we’ve learned through the Kavanaugh process that “yes, women sometimes lie”, so due process it is.

If I applied for a job, and the potential employer was told I was accused of sexual assault - I wouldn't get the job.

On the off hand that the company really wanted me and was willing to let due process take it's course, then they'd wait.

In no circumstance would they just ram it through. Everyone knows that.

Avenatti is a shady dude. I wish he wasn't involved. That he was leads to things being a circus.

Side note - funny how Kavanuagh being accused of lying is an affront to all that is holy but Avenatti and Kavanuagh's accusers are fucking guilty maaaaan. Very gzus of you guys.

What say you of Ms. Blasey Ford?

We learned that one of them lied. That didn’t mean they all lied.

Anyways, was that really “due process,” or a partisan hoohaw? You’re going to tell me that every single republicans miraculously came to a different conclusion than every single democrat, sans the two who conveniently swapped votes for their contentious electorates to be happy?

Due process would’ve been not rushing an investigation.

But better yet, why do we need due process to be a factor here? This wasn’t a criminal trial. Or even a civil suit. Nobody was on trial. “Without a doubt” is not necessary here. Like I said before, there’s nothing but crossed arms over Gorsuch. The republicans could’ve put forward a different candidate *when doubt was presented.*

Not doing so and rushing the confirmation was a political show of force.

Am I missing something, does this have anything to do with Avenatti anyways? This isn't one of the women who openly came forward, from what I can tell from the article, it's someone who wrote an anonymous letter, one of the ones I believe people were warned to be weary of, right?

But it was leaked to give people something to point to and say “see? Women be lying.”

It has nothing to do with anything.

Christine Blasey Ford remains far, far more believable than Blackout Brett and his berating of Any Klobuchar.

What is disturbing about Barrett is that the right will portray as anti-choice because she had the means to produce 7 kids. White heteronormativity pin up doll

This is the 3rd attack by a self-proclaimed incel. And yet we are supposed to believe it’s a more dangerous time for young men.

Right.

I had never heard of “incel” until yesterday. What the fuck is wrong with people??? I feel like medieval times is creeping back up in regards to women and minorities.

I know Dave hates it when i bring this up, but couldn’t legalized prostitution help with some of these people? Or is it a self fulfilling prophecy they live out in order to punish women?

The internet + Trump has brought out the worst in society.

I read a theory on the reason why Foxnews has gone even more wacko is due to the fear of losing viewership to the reddit/4chan forums, so they’re trying to bring that audience in with the non stop conspiracy bullshit

because violent hateful misogynists will suddenly stop being violent hateful misogynists as soon as they pay a woman (whom they are already absolutely disgusted by, with her being a sex worker) to climb on top of them for a few minutes.

that is definitely how the world works, and you definitely won't end up with a whole lot of dead and maimed sex workers that way and these hateful violent young men will go on to lead happy lives.

Anyone see the Bloomberg tv ad? He's a registered Democrat now, but he has said he won't run as a member of the party as it currently exists. He wants to reshape it. He's 76.
