America doesn’t have the attention span for a well laid out case.

That’s where witnesses could really help. Give a voice, a face to this crime vs Dems speaking

Pence and Meadows seem like two really important witnesses to call.

I like how they're showing videos of Trump calling the GOP names.

We knew these videos and the evidence presented would be damning against Trump

Even foxnews had to “break away” and complain about the Dallas Mavs not playing the national anthem. They didnt want their viewers to see what actually happened.

I still wish the Managers would call witnesses and present every ounce of evidence and documentation possible, even knowing that the GQP will acquit.

At least it’ll be out there and they did their jobs and the right thing.

Now it’s up to Congress and Biden to improve the laws or pass new ones to stop the confederacy from rigging the game.

We have one last shot at saving this democracy.

Some GOP Senator told CNN that he was disturbed by what he saw. But he was disturbed by the insurrectionists, not Trump-because Trump didn't cause it.

The denial and delusion is never going to stop. At this point I truly believe if Reps and Senators had been murdered these Republicans would still deny that Trump incited anything.

I'm really angry about the reports of GOP members sitting there focused on other things while the videos are playing and people are speaking. Somebody should make it so they can't get distracted while the trial's going. Either that, or kick out anyone who refuses to pay attention and punish them somehow. It's crazy that some of the people who helped aid and abet in this insurrection are even part of the jury for this trial to begin with.

Sadly the only way you can punish these peoples third democracy, and while democracy is normally a good thing, it’s not a good thing when you have a giant propaganda machine with really stupid voters backing really bad people for office.

Agreed. I think they should have just skipped to criminally charging Trump. Also, families of the victims should go after him in civil court. That's the bad publicity can really hurt him. I hope the next 4 years or so bring nothing but embarrassing legal challenges for Trump.

I guess this is his pathetic attempt to think that he's hiding the fact that they're voting not guilty regardless of what's presented. Hey Lindsey, you are offensive and absurd.

Lindsey Graham
@LindseyGrahamSC

The 'Not Guilty' vote is growing after today.

I think most Republicans found the presentation by the House Managers offensive and absurd.

The GOP have lost over 140,000 registered voters since January 6th.

Continue to shine the light on what happened and what they are currently not doing to atone and take responsibility and there’ll be a lot more defections.

Next the Dems need to pass covid and voter rights act

I think the latter can only happen with filibuster

Obviously the Covid relief bill is the top priority, but voting rights should be 1B. They don't seem to have put enough focus on that so far.

Pretty amazing job right now of the prosecution showing the history of Trump inciting violence.

They have done a very good job, too bad it's a waste of time. Never thought I'd see the day that US Senators look the other way about inciting a violent insurrection against the US Capitol.

How low can they go? Shouldn't ask that.

Jamie Raskin is so smart and such a good speaker. What makes him even more impressive is that he's doing this in the midst of grieving the loss of his 25 year old son on New Year's Eve 2020.

His son lived with depression and committed suicide.

Hopefully the three Dems who said they won’t end the filibuster can be persuaded or they’ll be lucky to ever hold power again.

Trump's condition when he had covid was even worse than his doctor and people in his administration let on. They thought he might need a ventilator. Shocking that we weren't told the truth about that.
