Worst case:

Lame duck congress and Trump will not bother with any relief or direction. They'll let it wash over the entire country and blame Biden.

Maybe case:
It gets so bad that even MoscowMitch and Trump have to do SOMETHING to help. Call for lockdowns, provide stimulus, PPE, etc

I honestly don't know what they'll do. Mitch went the entire summer and now fall without providing relief, not sure why he'd do it now?

Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney (D) said Friday that President Trump needs to "put his big boy pants on" and accept defeat in the election.

During an update on vote counting in the city, Kenney was asked to respond to Trump's comments on Thursday in which he claimed the election was being stolen from him, without providing any evidence.

"What the president needs to do, frankly, is put his big boy pants on. He needs to acknowledge that he lost. And he needs to congratulate the winner," Kenney said.

"I doubt he'll listen to me, but that's my feeling," the mayor added.
 
While it will be an uphill climb to win one of the GA runoffs, nevermind both, the Dems have on advantage that they have to capitalize on immediately.

Donald Trump loves only Donald Trump and doesn't give a shit about Loeffler, Perdue, the GOP caucus or advancing the goals of the party. If these two come out against him, they will depress turnout among the absolute batshit MAGA crowd, who is likewise in it for the cult leader and not the swampy DC GOP types. If they continue to support him and his insanity, it will be a turnoff for independents and normal people in GA.

Democrats need to get them on the record NOW and hold them to that.
 
Up 15k now in PA. Hopefully more come in so they can call this already.

But do we genuinely think that they can win one but not the other?

I would agree that Loeffler vs Warnock favors the dem and Perdue vs Ossoff favors the repube, but putting them together is almost guaranteed to be a turnout race. Id say splitting them is highly unlikely.

It would be weird for sure but if the margins are going to be razor thin, then weird results can happen.
 
Philadelphia police have arrested two armed men following a tip of an alleged plot to attack the Pennsylvania Convention Center, where ballots are currently being counted.

Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department arrested two men on firearms charges Thursday night after they were discovered carrying guns without valid Pennsylvania permits near the convention center, The Washington Post reported.

Both men, who were not named, were spotted with firearms by bike patrol officers.


“This is a highly active investigation and we have no additional comment at this time,” the district attorney’s office said, according to the Post.

No one was harmed in the incident, according to the Post.

The men could potentially have ties to the conspiracy theory group QAnon. A Philadelphia Inquirer photographer Jessica Griffin captured photos of the Hummer that the men were traveling in which featured a QAnon decal on the back window. Police had discovered their empty silver Hummer at 10:20 p.m., the Post reported.


A hat that was visible on the front dashboard of the SUV was also embroidered with QAnon insignia. The men admitted to owning the vehicle and police also uncovered another firearm inside, the Post reported.
