But for my state of Ohio, you have to go all the way back to JFK in 1962 to find a president who got elected without it.

As a lifelong resident of Ohio, I am very upset at the thought that it may be lost to Democrats.

1992 featured three candidates. Prior to 1992 the last time Florida was wrong was 1924. Both states have a heritage of choosing the right president and both get talked about for it. 2020 is exceptional in that there’s no special circumstance (no extra candidate) and in fact they’re both (potentially) wrong.
