A new poll released Friday shows Sen. Bernie Sanders leading the Democratic presidential race in Senator Elizabeth Warren’s home state less than a week away from its primary election.

According to the WBUR/MassINC poll, Sanders is the choice of 25 percent of likely Democratic primary voters in Massachusetts, followed by Warren at 17 percent. Pete Buttigieg and Medford native Michael Bloomberg followed with 14 percent and 13 percent support, respectively, with Joe Biden in fifth at 9 percent.

The poll surveyed 426 likely voters Sunday through Wednesday — and has a margin of error of plus-or-minus 4.9 percent.

Previous polls released over the past week showed a neck-and-neck race in Massachusetts. And while the Vermont senator’s lead is still within the WBUR survey’s margin of error, the results potentially foreshadow a serious blow for Warren next Tuesday, as her progressive rival’s campaign dials in on Massachusetts.

I feel like Bernie may not clear 20.

That would make for a massive Biden win.

The question is does Bloomberg?

If he dropped and put his money and endorsement to Biden, it would be a whole new world.

But, I think he just said yesterday he would be crazy to spend all this money and time and not go through super tuesday

I think the more likely scenario might be after super tuesday, If Joe does well, that he will then drop and put his effort behind Biden.

After all this is over and we're forced to listen to senile or demented old men 24/7, I hope everyone of every political stripe can come to agree that there should be some sort of a reasonable age limit set.

Amy might not break 5%. If you can't break 5% in a moderate/conservative state. You need to find the exit.

There is very little incentive for them to drop out because Super Tuesday is in only 72 hours. I do expect that several of them will be finding stage left at that point.

Until the youth actually exercise their right to vote and not just tweet about it, this country will continue to put up 70+ year old candidates.

Imagine tho if a more diverse state started things off. We might still have Harris, Castro, and Booker

It’s like we keep going in damn circles. Most important thing is to beat Trump but i hope whoever can/does can make SOME changes to the system

Times have changed.

Joe can say anything, and the press and public won’t care. As long as he still has a pulse.

We have a man who is sinking into dementia exponentially by the day currently in the White House. He is not fit to live alone, nevermind lead a country.

Have any of you watched his press conference today? It's unspeakable that he is allowed to continue on in his role, much less run for re-election.

So here comes Biden, another man on the brink of senility to save us.

But anyone who is thinking of voting for Trump, like deep, has ZERO right to point to Biden's rambling speeches. That sort of audacity is really something else.

deep, for the umpteenth time in this forum when Ms. anitram asserts 'you don't get to say that !!!'

....well, that's a sign we're getting closer to reality.

Oh you can say it if you want to embarrass yourself.

And I will call it out for the repugnant hypocrisy each time.

Seeing Joe Biden as described in that article just makes me sad. He's always been let's just say quirky and off color, but this is completely different. He said that his family called a meeting and told him he needed to run for President. Maybe they're in denial.

Losing my Mom to cancer I could listen to him talk about grief and loss forever. He gets that. When he came out with his book about Beau and went out on tour he was very lucid and clear and articulate. Would have to Google what year that book was released.

He's had lots of gut wrenching heartache in his life obviously, and I do believe he's an empathetic person because of that. People who are devoid of empathy are repugnant to me. That's one reason that Trump is repugnant to me, one of a long list.

There is such a double standard in this country.

Bernie praises socialism, Cuba, says JFK makes him physically sick

All stupid comments and takes heat.

Trump praises the fucking Taliban and its crickets. Not only praises them, his administration releases 5000 of their soldiers. Remember when Obama releases FIVE for a American prisoner ??

Speaking of Taliban, give it a few years and Afghanistan will be right back to pre 9/11

This isn’t a fair fight

Here come the military experts with their wisdom on how to end an 18 year, extremely costly (in American lives and money) war.

Who got you into that mess over there in the first place?

Which of course makes the Trump led and GOP defended smear campaign of Hunter Biden all the more repugnant.

Do you know better?

No that’s right, you’re only aware that they don’t know better because they’re librulz. Enjoy your sports team.

Sexism is alive and real.

You can shit on both candidates all you want but given where they occupy in the political axis, candidates exist to the left and right of Warren and to the left and right of Klobuchar.
