Bloomberg and Warren need to step aside tonight.

When Joe doesn't win a majority but has a plurality, I'm sure Sanders will follow his stated preference for the delegate leader to win the nomination.

Looking like Biden is going to win Virginia and NC in a landslide

I'm still super demoralized that THESE two are the two final choices.

But looking forward to the general election - while I have little faith in Biden on the campaign trail, in the debates or basically in public, I do think that he would be more likely to reach out to the progressives and make some concessions to them/amend his platform in order to try to rally that part of the base. On the other hand I don't think that Bernie is willing to step an inch back from the line he's drawn in the sand and that worries me.

obviously, it's early, but it does seem like the central argument of the Bernie campaign about how they would beat Trump -- youth turnout, non-voters voting -- doesn't seem to be materializing.

I find it depressing, actually. Trump isn’t enough?

I get that the you have never turned out, but ... man. What’s it take?

Forget the young, they just don't vote.

Women are the main and best way to deliver a D victory. Campaign accordingly.

It's incredibly depressing, and also incredibly predictable.

I can’t believe Biden is leading in MA. I mean, it makes perfect sense, with Sanders and Warren splitting the progressive vote, but still...

We'll get a million attacks on Elizabeth Warren for allegedly being the spoiler.

You know, as opposed to voters under 30 actually showing up to vote. Can't possibly be their fault.

Doesn’t look like that’s the case though. Only 8% in and Warren on top. No point in counting until more is in.

It changed shortly after my post. Biden was leading before.

But yes, still early.

If this holds and Biden actually wins the most delegates tonight? The map is very much in his favor and he's likely to get a majority.

Woah... Almost double turnout in Virginia. Looks like Bernie was right - he did drive turnout.

In a way, what we are seeing is a revolution of the middle. People not wanting crazy, racist, cheating and lying on one side and people not wanting to turn America into Denmark on the other. And they are converting into big turnout for a moderate candidate that at this moment in history will stabilize the country.

So far biggest turnout surges have been large Biden wins
