 What a throwback.

You know what I find the most astounding about all of this? How many men (let's face it aside from a few, it's all dudes), many with impressive resumes, successful business careers, excellent educational backgrounds and generally a lot of life experience are willing to line up and bend over for this asshole when it is patently clear to anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together that loyalty means nothing to Trump, that he will throw you under the bus without a second thought and that he will be willing to go to extreme lengths to discredit you, slander you, ruin you, etc. We have one example after another, some of them LITERALLY ROTTING IN JAIL as we speak and yet here we are, idiots continuing to throw their lives down the toilet. For what???

Sond... sound... soundland? Never heard of the guy. He was an intern. He was recommended to me by a friend for the job but I’ve never heard of the guy other than that.

Looks like Biden is solidly back in the lead nationally by double digits. Is within margin of error of first place in Iowa and NH, ahead outside the margin in NV and way ahead in SC.

He was almost written off a couple months ago. But I think that the impeachment hearings have reignited what has remained the top priority of Dems the entire primary. Who can beat Trump. And Warren fumbled with M4A.

It will be interesting to see how this goes tonight.

on a side note. Disgusting that Tulsi is up there and Castro isn't.

If he is going to win, and he’s still the favorite, I hope he does better in one-on-one debates.

And when Trump is impeached it will come up every single time the two face off. And that isn’t good for Trunp. Because he’s going to have to continue to explain this and answer for this the entire campaign if it’s Biden.

Shows how warped and brainwashed that the cult is. How they can see 6 Trump associates go to jail so far, with 3 more on the way soon. And it doesn't phase them. Doesn't dawn on them, that they are just a piece of dirt that Trump tramples on to get onto wherever he needs to go.

Sondland would have been another casualty - and still could be, if he hadn't done what he did today. My hope is that the Congresspeople and Senators that are defending this trash heap will lose their seats at the ver y least.

It's so discouraging, and almost surreal to live in this time.

I totally disagree. Trump would not only love this but would thrive in that setting. Joe is old, confused and frankly horribly uninspired in debates. Trump will bang on how corrupt he and his son are, and get in a million soundbytes that the idiot media will replay over and over again.

Boy, that would be quite the showdown.

If Biden does win the nomination, I wonder if that'll be the time when Trump suddenly decides to back out. Provided he doesn't do it before then, that is.

Edit: Well, Kamala just went in on Tulsi.

That's a really good point. I just hope that Biden has better people around him than Hillary did. He will need to have a truly air tight response to Trump as well, as he will continue to brand him as corrupt as he did successfully with Clinton, and Clinton always seemed flat-footed when confronted with the emails/corruption attacks.

I think that Clinton also had to haul along the baggage of being wife of Bill, a woman, trying to win after 8 years of Democratic president, so these are all things that Biden will not have to struggle against.

There is no doubt in my mind Biden wins PA and the midwest formerly blue states, while not losing any that Hillary won. Simple as that. period. All the rest are a gamble in my eyes at least at this point.

While I agree with this. I think it will have been played out and diffused by then. It shows right now. Trump has been banging on Biden being corrupt for a year now, and he has remained at the head of the pack, even gained recently as attacks have stepped up.
A year from now, Trump's claims will be played out. Not completely, but not as potent as Clinton's issues.

Compare that to the Socialist/communist onslaught that will be thrown at Warren or Sanders and it is no contest.
Can't throw much at Pete, except some race issues, that Trump shouldn't or wouldn't raise.
But again. He is polling at ZERO percent with African Americans. Not seeing his path.

Klobuchar needs to do something about her shaking hair.

This is actually concerning to me... I've noticed this. It seems that she has tremors... Do we know if she has some sort condition?

And no. I'm not pulling a Hillary here. I'm sure she's healthy, but i just don't know why she shakes, all the time.
I thought the first time it was nerves. But is seems different than that. i dunno.

Zero percent amongst Democratic voters.

The only people who believe that'll stay the same against Trump are Candace Owens and Gzusfrk.

I mean, maybe. It’s not like Trump is getting more intellectually agile, and its rather rich considering what the two idiots and Ivanka make each year off the presidency.

While that may be true (it is), I'm not saying he stays at zero.
But lets put this into perspective. One main part of Clinton's loss? She came in just a couple percentage points short in African American votes than what she expected to. And she had about 90% support of African Americans. No chance Pete gets Hillary's numbers, and that spells disaster.

It doesn't take much to shift a state like MI, or PA., FL, or NC.

He won't have to. The evangelicals will do the dirty work for him. Just like gzus would want.

I am completely fascinated to see how America would react to a gay candidate. I think it would be an issue, the WaPo article on Chasten’s brothers was heartbreaking and relatable (not directly) to me, and felt very real.

Then again, 11 years ago we elected someone named Barack Hussein Obama. So anything is possible.

I have noticed the gay jokes in clickbait headlines (“Pete on top” “Pete blows past field in Iowa”) all this week since, um, topping the Iowa polls. It’s not unintentional.

It's super interesting and I feel like I don't have a good handle on it because to me this is an issue of like 20 years ago and just not something that I think should be a hindrance. But I do not move in social circles where this would be important nor do I generally interact much with highly religious people. So I don't know how many people out there would look at him in the dying days of the election and think to themselves "do I really want two dudes in bed together in the WH?"

ugh. Sometimes its difficult when you aren't homophobic to realize that there still are so many that are, and that it definitely will be yet another hurdle for young , super-white Pete.

Yeah, there's definitely people out there who are trying or will try and make a thing out of Pete's sexuality, for sure. But honestly, I ultimately think, or at least, I'd like to think, that most Americans would be like, "...so what?" at the end of the day. I mean, if he is doing well in more rural states, I'm guessing that's got to be a good sign of some sort.

It will totally become an issue. ie, do you think Putin from super homophobic Russian is going to take some homo seriously? And will go from there — being gay is far more of an issue globally than being a woman or being non-white. We are put to death and/or jailed in many countries.

But maybe voters won’t care. I do think it will be an issue, because there is no bar that Trump will not lower.

just spend about 5 minutes on Twitter/IG, etc.. on or around Trump/republican posts. It's still disgusting out there with race, gender and sexuality. Whatever you think it is. It's worse. Sad to say
