I wasn't for socialism when I was living pay check to pay check and barely scrapping by, either. I guess I wasn't overly elite, yet. Probably why I was a Republican then, by your fucking numbskulled logic.
I am generally in favor of capitalism. I've never once voiced an argument in favor of socialism. Most democrats don't, actually - despite what that mean old Hannity says. There's really only two actual leftists even on this board. Most of us trend more moderate.
I'm also not so fucking stupid as to not see that there are already a shit ton of socialist aspects to our economy.
I am in favor of a gradual shift to socialized medicine. I don't think we should go all in - not because it doesn't make sense to do so from a humanity perspective, but unfortunately we have a shit ton of stupid people in this country who are so frightened by the naughty S word that it's more likely to become a thing if we take a gradual approach as opposed to pulling off the band aid.
And guess what? And this is really going to fucking throw you for a loop here - but I'm not an AOC fan! I know, I was surprised too since Fox News told me everyone who doesn't worship Trump does (oh, I know... you don't like him, you're just an independent conservative wink wink). She's got some potential, but I disagree with her on a lot of issues. I openly posted here about my displeasure I'm her torpedoing the Amazon deal that would have greatly benefited the neighborhood I called home for many years - specifically considering that the proposal had huge favorability and it wasn't her fucking district.
But hey, burning her image in a political ad is pretty fucking low. Sure, they have the right to do it under the first amendment, but that doesn't make it a good fucking idea, nor a safe one.
I'm also not so gosh darn fucking stupid to not see the difference between a comedian saying something that is offensive vs. a paid political ad running during a debate.
But hey - keep fucking that poor, misunderstood conservative chicken. It's working out great for you guys. Good job, good effort.
