Bernie the patsy just caved and endorsed Hillary anyway, after saying she wasn't qualified to be President.

Shall I continue?? This is pretty common knowledge but of course Libs wanna pretend it never happened

You’re in luck because it’s the lefties that are with you and these vague generalities all the way. You’ve read an article or two, probably by a right wing source, or maybe even a left wing one. But “rigged” remains entirely undefined — what does it mean? Especially when she won more votes (17m to 13m) and more unpledged delegates.

Love that phrase — “Bernie the patsy.” Did you just read that word somewhere? Because you don’t know what it means.

Also love “shall I continue,” as if you’re on some sort of truth telling roll and boom, mic drop. Sit down!

gzus would be better served worrying about the immoral idiot representing his party at the moment than what Debbie Wasserman Schultz did.

Ok, since you have the truth to all this, YOU tell ME why Wasserman Shultz was forced out of the DNC, and why Donna Brazile was fired from CNN. Because these are the reasons, even MSM couldn't paint this another way. And I know the definition of patsy, that's why I used the word. Bernie wouldn't have won anyway, but the primary was rigged against him, then he did what he was told, dutifully fell into line and endorsed the woman he said wasn't qualified.

Irvine, I think it's just u that doesn't know this stuff. Again, this is about as common as common knowledge gets. "Still, he persisted."

Sorry, I had to explain ancient history to Irvine.

I am fully aware if the foibles and faults, and embarrassments of Donald Trump. I am an independent conservative so most of his policy choices I agree with, but not all.

The Trump Derangement Syndrome is strong in this place though. And so many of you are just like Bernie, just believe what the Dems tell you to believe, don't worry about the deceit and crimes being committed behind the curtain.

Lol at Bernie “dutifully falling in line.” Yeah, he got cheated pretty hard by the system, which corrupted, but he chose his words respectably. He hardly loved Clinton. He just understood that the game was over and his hold-out of an endorsement was against the greater good. He has loyal supporters, and not encouraging them to vote is the same as encouraging them to stay home. If you haven’t realized, Donald Trump isn’t exactly an articulate or capable leader.

Totally a patsy!

If any Dem should be mad at “the system” it should be Lincoln Chaffee or Martin O’Malley, because the way that the 2016 race was structured from the beginning was heavily weighted towards getting the front runner out early so the primary itself would be over sooner rather than later and the candidate would be as not-bloodied as possible. That’s the extent of the “rigging” — Bernie, who only becomes a Democrat when it is convenient for him, had more than a fair shake and lost not just in total votes but in unoledged delegates as well. He held on like a sulking child after being mathematically elimiated because he was a patsy.

Oh, wait, that’s not what a patsy is at all.

Doesn’t matter! Because it’s the least wrong thing Gzus wrote.

Also, am I alone in thinking that endangered species have had it too good for too long? So sick of the government protecting them, it becomes this cycle of dependency for bald eagles and American alligators and grizzly bears and the like. They’ve all got teeth and claws and things, maybe it’s time they stop voting for the democrats who run their rat-infested shithole habitats and start voting for Republicans.

there are many Trump-is-a-nightmare thought pieces out there, but this one, about that photo he and his zombie bride took with the baby who was orphaned due to Trump's rhetoric and the GOP's gun obsession, is worth a read, if for this paragraph alone:

Quote:
All of these ghastly truths make themselves felt in this single photo of the vacuous and smug Trumps masquerading as kindly hospital visitors, seeking to comfort the El Paso survivors. Posing for this photograph, the Trumps remove any last doubt about their dead-eyed cruelty and transactional view of life. Smiling emptily above this wounded little boy, whose life was shattered before he could take his first step, the president and his wife call to mind those famous safari photos taken by Trump’s sons, Eric and Don Jr. — in which they, like their father, smile brightly over the victims of their own heedless cruelty and violence. To Donald Trump, this baby is little more than a hunting trophy in his own brutal race war (which explains his triumphant thumbs up).

Irving

that was an appropriately chilling article. And creepy photo.
I hadn't seen the photo, and my tv's digital box needs to be rescanned. Thus i'm currently following just about everything via public rafio, and occasional commercial news radio.

Guys I don't even like Trump. I just hop in to defend his every action and never say an actual criticism as a part of my "Own The Libs" action plan.

He's just following the typical conservative approach.

Support and argue on behalf of the corrupt, immoral leader who doesn't actually appear to believe in any of the tenets of conservatism (or any tenets of any sort really).

When said leader inevitably fails and the majority of the public turns on him and the party, choose one or more of the following approaches:

a) argue that he was not a real conservative (i.e. conservatism can't fail, but people can)
b) deny ever having supported him (like how GWB managed to get elected twice yet people willing to openly admit they voted for him are suddenly an endangered species)
c) claim that you supported him initially but ceased to do so when it became obvious that he was corrupt (hoping that the rest of us don't notice that you defended his actions until literally the second he was unseated)
d) declare yourself an independent and state that "both sides suck" (again hoping that nobody notices that you actively supported one side only)

It's coming.

A top US immigration official has revised a quote inscribed on the Statue of Liberty in defence of a new policy that denies food aid to legal migrants.

The head of Citizenship and Immigration Services tweaked the passage: "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breath free".

The official added the words "who can stand on their own two feet and who will not become a public charge".

It comes as Trump officials debuted a regulation that denies aid to migrants.

Ken Cuccinelli, the Trump administration's acting head of Citizenship and Immigration Services, announced on Monday a new "public charge" requirement that limits legal migrants from seeking certain public benefits such as public housing or food aid, or are considered likely to do so in the future.

The new regulation, known as a "public charge rule", was published in the Federal Register on Monday and will take effect on 15 October.

The rule change is intended to reinforce "ideals of self-sufficiency", officials said. Critics argue that it will prevent low-income US residents from seeking help.

What did the official say?
On Tuesday, Mr Cuccinelli was asked by NPR whether the 1883 poem titled The New Colossus at the Statue of Liberty on New York's Ellis Island still applied.

"Would you also agree that Emma Lazarus's words etched on the Statue of Liberty, 'Give me your tired, give me your poor,' are also a part of the American ethos?" asked NPR's Rachel Martin.

"They certainly are," Mr Cuccinelli responded. "Give me your tired and your poor - who can stand on their own two feet and who will not become a public charge."

"That plaque was put on the Statue of Liberty at almost the same time as the first public charge [law] was passed - very interesting timing," he added.

The actual passage reads in part: "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

In the interview, he added that immigrants are welcome "who can stand on their own two feet, be self-sufficient, pull themselves up by their bootstraps, again, as in the American tradition".
Traditional Conservative Christian Values. As Gzus intended. Lord hear our prayer.

What do liberals do when they have no response to presented facts about how corrupt and inept the Democrat Party is?

Say "he likes Trump but won't admit it!" I used to not believe in Trump Derangement Syndrome, but the handful of you have made me a believer.

Honestly if I liked Trump as a person I would have no problem saying so, because you're opinion of me doesn't keep me up at night.

I will proudly say that conservative policies create a better economy, more focus on what the Constitution actually says, more freedom for ALL (even the "socialists " in this country) and are the answer to eliminating the horrible Democrat run inner cities that have been poor for 50 years, and are still poor because of liberal policies.

More and more people of color are realizing that they are not oppressed by anyone, and they already have the freedom to work hard and make a better life for themselves without hanging on to the Democrat welfare system which punishes marriage and hard work, and incentivizes fatherlessness and laziness.

But you go ahead and obsess over whether or not I'm a Trump guy. You have more to work with than actually discussing liberal policies for America.

Record black unemployment!

And yes, the Democrats as a political party are inept. I'm not sure why you think we disagree as it's been said on this thread probably a hundred times.
