ICE concedes that 109 of the immigrants arrested had no criminal record. The remaining 61 had criminal records, but ICE wouldn't specify what those were.

Sorry, that as a Christian, I am not allowed to point out facts that distort the exploitation of your narrative.

To DaveC and Headache, if you notice, I said nothing derogatory about anyone. You guys get upset when facts are brought in to disrupt your narrative. I'm sorry the "kids in cages" narrative is an overblown liberal talking point, and that the Suave Hellion stated or grossly inferred that LEGAL immigrants were arrested, when they were illegal.

Typical liberal outrage though, you're outraged when someone presents facts that diffuse your Propaganda that you peddle on here. That's fine, live in your perpetual ignorance, and keep posting your exaggerated, factless "liberal logic."

Sorry that, as a Christian, I find the treatment of the poor by your favorite political party (and my former favorite before I became such a lie loving liberal scum) morally reprehensible and against all of the teachings of the book you claim to follow.

I don't recall learning about how Jesus used people's kindness and empathy as a trick in order to deport people

gzusfrk, I get that at this point it may be too much to expect you to look at your vote for Trump and ongoing support as a mistake. There is pride and whatever. But really, just look at it as a sunk cost and move on. The guy is a con artist, his money allowed him to be more than just a petty criminal, but that's about it.

Seriously, I'd be genuinely interested to see Gzusfrk try and explain or defend the recent revelations about Trump and all these people connected to him flipping and taking plea deals and going to jail. I'd be interested to hear him try and explain how Trump went from "I didn't know about those payments" to trying to defend making them. I'd be interested to hear his thoughts on whether or not Trump's family should keep getting promoted to high level positions in this administration, or hear him try and defend or explain the constant turnover in staff.

I mean, I've been hearing Trump supporters complain a lot these last couple years about how they've been ignored or not understood or whatever, and we're just not hearing enough about the good stuff Trump's doing, so this could be Gzusfrk's opportunity to try and bring a different perspective in that regard. Or, if he doesn't agree with any of the stuff I mentioned above, if he does find it concerning, it'd be nice to hear him say that. It'd be a good way to show that Trump supporters are capable of actually criticizing the guy, and questioning some of his decisions.

But nah. Better to just randomly pop in every couple months, make a few comments scolding us liberals for being "biased" and running on "liberal outrage", and then leave again without actually engaging in a legitimate, decent debate about this stuff. Because that'll totally win us over to the Trump supporters' side.

Things are okay here. We do have snow on the ground, but we didn't get this latest snowstorm, as it went through the southern U.S. :). My relatives who live in North Carolina got a few inches of snow out of that storm, though!

Not only that but he revealed addresses of some of the grieving parents so his minions could harass them. I believe he family of one little boy who was killed had to relocate 7 times.

it's not, but i grew up in the church, and unlike our freakish resident pharisee, i actually read and studied what jesus said and taught about the poor and needy. he was a radical proto-socialist to the core in just about every conceivable way, and in fact violently opposed the wealthy class and insisted his followers give away their worldly possessions before they could hope to get into heaven, but don't tell that to our "poor people are lazy" and "don't touch my stuff you evil socialists" buzzword machine.

it's not "news" per se but there were multiple people in here just last week talking about how they'd really like to see his name on the democratic ticket in 2020. just providing some evidence for why that's a bad idea.
 
there are lots of reasons why it's a bad idea to nominate him. this is definitely not *the* reason but it's one of many.
