Anyone but the fucking GOP. They’ve been exposed for what a lot of us have known for a while. A white nationalist party

I’ll agree there is a lot of anger towards any sort of “establishment” candidates. The government has let us down but let’s not put it all on them. We’re fucking idiots too.

The difference it seems from “progressives” and then whatever you want to call us other Democrats is that we would have voted for Bernie (or this chick) versus Trump.

I don’t need my candidate to be pure and uncompromising.

I want liberal social issues
I want liberal policies WITH a solid plan to pay for them (like reducing our military budget for starters)

There’s never going to be a perfect candidate. Everyone has skeletons, especially now when something you said or joked about 10 years ago can cause you to lose your job or drop out of a race. But that’s another topic

Back to the subject, with the heat on Trump me thinks war with Iran comes sooner than later

Even conservative voices like CNBC are starting to get worried about what Trump is doing...

Officials from previous administrations say the web of longstanding global relationships has staying power.

“That webbing is dense, and it can sustain a lot of damage,” said Kori Schake, a former national security aide to President George W. Bush who now helps run the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London. “This is not the first time there are troubles in the trans-Atlantic relationship.”

But Schake added, “This is the first time that a president of the United States did not appear to believe in the liberal order.”

But the global order was under strain even before Trump’s presidency. Now, some fear it has already been damaged too much.

“Things will not be OK,” conservative foreign policy expert Robert Kagan wrote recently in The Washington Post. “The world crisis is upon us.”

since when was CNBC a “conservative voice”?

Usually business news outlets tend to be fiscally conservative, and Republican leaning. WSJ for example. And I believe a CNBC commentator was the one who started the Tea Party because he didn't like Obama's"overspending".

She won because she was the right person for that District.

This is literally all anybody is saying. Conservative Democrats can win in western PA. Latina socialists can win in Queens. You get nothing progressive if you don’t have the seats in Congress. Get the seats in Congress.
for fucks sake yes.

Stop the infighting and just take back Congress.

We desperately need to take away the image that being economically capitalistic equates to conservativism. There is no direct relationship between social and economic views. We have allowed tribalism to equate them.

CNBC is a consumer network. It has little to say about politics and federalism or anti-federalism.

Overall, when that network does get political, I would say they’re center-left.

My younger sister heads into a mental health clinic for three weeks on Sunday.

It's going to cost us ~$500.

In your shithole of a country, it would cost at least $18,000 (it's $1,000 a night).

Obama - I’ll meet with leader of Iran with no preconditions

GOP - YOURE A TRAITOR!!!

Trump- I’ll meet with the leader of Iran, no preconditions

GOP - This is leadership!!!!

And I think it’s good that Trumpypoo is willing to toss out the bullshit and just meet with the Kims and ayatollahs of this world.

It’s a shame he’s a fucking moron and doesn’t know what he’s doing.

*Blinks*

All right, then. *Slowly backs away*

(Honestly, though, I do think about that sometimes when it comes to fandom/fanfic/fanart/etc.. Knowing how weird and out there that stuff can be, I can easily see that being brought up in political races someday. Which would be...a bizarre scenario, to say the very least.)

At the end of the day, though, I'd be more concerned about the potential white supremacist connections.
