Jeff Sessions testifies tomorrow.

Irving up here in NYC we had the whole crowds of people at bars watching Comey's testimony as well!

I don't watch TV in the morning as it is too distracting unless some thing unbelievably horrific , or incredibly good/amazing has happened. This what radio is for!

But I took a brief look at the Comey hearings. Got a bit of chills, remembering Watergate.

The Dems just don't know how to build momentum. The GOP continue to show how stupid they are, but when an opening is there, the Dems tend to blow it.

Also, I see the strategy now is to go after Comey (which started last week) and now going after Mueller because he and Comey are friends.

You cannot win against this type of mindset. All you do is discredit someone, try to create confusion or distrust and you win.

The distraction today is that Trump is thinking about firing Mueller. Newt back in May when Bob was hired on to oversee the investigation heaped praise upon him.

Today he's talking about how there's no way Mueller can be trusted. So the memo has obviously been passed around. Discredit the former head of FBI so whatever findings come out are immediately questioned

Not sure what to say about the shooting in DC. I feel for the victims and their families.

But I'm sure we will hear soon how the shooter is mentally ill, yet we will continue down a path of cutting mental health services and doing nothing to restrict firearm access.

We do not 'hate' the 'centre-left' (I'm assuming you're referring to liberals?), there's disgruntlement and disagreement at the things that are written and said but they will never come close to the hatred felt for the right. I mean, bloody hell, it's frustrating even having to type this out.

I was at a brunch a block from there a couple of weeks ago. It's one of the coolest suburban neighborhoods in NoVA.

This is the sound of chickens coming home to roost. I am of course glad no one was killed, and I am hopeful that the experience of terror via gunfire will cause these powerful people to be more empathetic towards gun violence in the future.

depressingly, a guy i know (far-left Melenchon supporter) refused to vote Macron (centrist) in the second round, claiming that he was a financial fascist which, to him (and others it seems), equates to Le Pen style fascism (in his own words) - don't think Melenchon would have approved of that, although i still haven't forgiven him for not publicly supporting the "front republicain" to block Le Pen - he won't have my vote next time round, just because of that, because he refused to make a public stand against the immediate and very dangerous threat of the FN at the time- i will just stick to the socialists i reckon if a decent candidate comes along - really disappointing though!

Seriously. It's also sort of ironic, considering the contempt with which Democrats have spoken about the far left lately. For all their talk of wanting to compromise on everything, they only want to actually compromise with the right.

The Right have the power.

All Democrats have right now is silly moral victories in how they lost a congressional election by 7% versus 25%

And turns out the shooter today volunteered for Bernie. I feel horrible for Sanders, cause this pretty much ruins whatever goodwill he built up. The GOP/FoxNews/Trump are going to destroy him over this.

This also hurts any liberal cause since we will now be characterized as violent when we don't get our way. Liberals riot at universities when they don't like a speech. And now liberals want to kill GOP congressmen.

We have a Commander in Chief who I'm sure will handle this with complete class.

Both sides need to watch what the fuck they say. When you talk about taking our country back, or a revolution in a country with more guns than people....over time shit is going to boil over. Not an excuse, but I think we've all sensed that shit like this will become more common.
