News segments on Sky News showing a UK family travelling next week to Disney world then on a cruise. They now can't go as the mother has Iranian parents although she has been in the UK for 30 years and is a UK citizen. How is this even possible or sane?!

Let's try and be more nuanced than the anti-Hillary brigade yelling "lock her up!"

If they are willing to lock Hillary up because of a few lost emails than shouldn't trump be locked up for say discriminating against Muslims, being unconstitutional, promoting hate and racism, dividing the country, putting the country in danger, destroying the country's reputation, picking fights with the media, putting out blatant lies, deleting data and pages and many more things? Let's be real here, if trumpsters feel the need to lock her up over a few emails than I have the right to feel that we should lock him up for what I believe is much much more dangerous behaviour! I am sorry if it offended you for me to say lock him up but it's the way I feel.

Ok I apologize for saying lock him up! Trump brings the worst out of me. I just wish this nightmare would be over! At the least I hope he gets impeached so we can move on from this reality show.

been wondering about the Joshua Tree Tour with all this - how long before they get closed down if they do anything provocative? (if they don't boycott the US that is)

"U2 are inciting violence against the government and aren't allowed to tour in the US".

I do hope the Adminstration has thought about pro sports, very important to some of us

NBA reached out to State Department in wake of President Trump’s immigration ban | ProBasketballTalk

Quote:
The NBA’s primary concern was simple: If Deng or Maker traveled to Toronto for a game, or went to Africa as part of the NBA’s Basketball Without Borders program next summer, could they re-enter the country?

Deng came to this country at the age of five from the Sudan and has British citizenship, Maker played his high school ball in the USA and Canada and carries an Australian passport. Because of those facts their situation may be different from others trying to enter the country, but the NBA understandably wanted clarification.

I think it's absurd that they won't even prioritize those with alternative citizenship. Such as someone like Deng, who is a known Brit (known to play for their national basketball team). Same with Farah.

I mean, the whole thing is absurd.

We both have very highly privileged jobs and there is no way they can have any information from my personal or work cell phone. If this passes, we're not going to the US so long as Trump is president and this is in existence.

Enjoy being the pariah of the world, Oregoropa and bobsaget and all the rest of you.

NO PLEASE DON'T DO IT. This country needs you to be here! We won't survive without your highly privileged vacation money.
I've now realized the enormous mistake that I made voting for this guy. I'm so sorry.

You're not funny.

And you're ignorant if you don't acknowledge how an individual's decision might be indicative of setbacks to tourism industries nationwide.

Do you have any idea how much revenue tourism generates? Even for red states?

Oops. Facts. My bad.

They're documented Christians (three of them anyway), so theoretically they should be fine.

Plus, they're white and rich. Anti-Irish immigration bans are so last century.

It sounds more like you should. You clearly have no idea what the hell is going on over there.
