I find it truly scary that someone can continue to obsess over people on an internet message board as much as you do.
You don't seem to have any discernible opinion of your own -- just the same resplurged talking points over and over again. Time after time, another swing, another miss. Do you really expect a different result when you continue to repeat the same stuff over and over again? If you do, it sounds like you could be certifiably insane.
I've ignored you for a while, but now i'm just going to completely mute you so I won't see any more of your posts -- you can stop wasting your time responding with more useless drivel. Your obsession usually just gives me a chuckle, but it seems as if your mental sanity is going down rapidly. It's hard to watch someone mentally spiral as fast as you have since the election.
Orrrrrr you could just respond to the point that was made.

That could work, too.

President-elect Donald Trump rang in the new year together with Joseph "Joey No Socks" Cinque — a convicted felon with ties to notorious Gambino crime family boss John Gotti, a recently released video has revealed.

Cinque can be seen in a video obtained by the Palm Beach Daily News, cheering loudly as a tuxedo-clad Trump runs through a number of campaign promises before the hundreds of guests attending the New Year's Eve bash the President-elect threw at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida on Saturday.

"The taxes are coming down, regulations are coming off, we're going to get rid of Obamacare," Trump can be heard saying as an exuberant Cinque stands next to him, pumping his fists into the air.

Cinque's Sunday appearance with Trump might raise some eyebrows.

Beyond a 1989 felony conviction for possessing nearly $100,000 worth of stolen artwork, Cinque "used to be friends with John Gotti," according to a New York Magazine profile from 1995.

Cinque was also "shot three times and left for dead" in a 1980 incident that authorities described as "a hit," according to the profile.

Further, Saturday's Mar-a-Lago party was far from the first time Cinque cheered on Trump.

An Associated Press report from this spring showed that the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences, a company owned and operated by Cinque, has awarded more than a dozen of Trump's golf courses, hotels, casinos and private clubs with so-called "Star Diamond" awards "of true excellence in hospitality."

The same report also found that about half of the roughly 30 people listed as "trustees" to the company are Trump friends or business associates.

Trump, meanwhile, was listed on the company's website as its "ambassador extraordinaire," and he even appeared in a 2009 tribute video to Cinque in which he said, "There's nobody like him. He's a special guy."

But when asked by reporters about Cinque in May, Trump denied knowing anything about him or his criminal past.

"If a guy's going to give you an award, you take it," the President-elect said at the time. "You don't tend to look up his whole life story."

The Trump transition team did not immediately return a request for comment on how the President-elect knows Cinque or why they appeared together Saturday.

And your guy Obama launched his political aspirations with a meet and greet set up for him at the home of Bill Ayers. Unrepentant Weather Underground domestic terrorist bomber who in fact appeared on the cover of a newspaper magazine dated 9/11/01 saying he regrets "not setting more [bombs]"

Obama later referred to him as a guy in the neighborhood during a debate with Hillary.

I guess once you transition into a leftist college professor that reinforces your world view, the past is totally off the table.

Thanks.

While I think Obama had a great second term, I'm not a Democrat. Didn't even vote for him the second time, although in hindsight that was a mistake - based on his second term performance.

I guess everyone who hates Trump is a Democrat in the eyes of some...

But hey, meeting a guy in your early 20s is so totally the same thing as carrying on a decades long business partnership with mafioso. Seriously, totally the same thing. I'm sorry I even brought it up. Bill Ayers, guys! Bill Ayers.

When you can't defend the blue collar billionaire that claims he'll drain the swamp, as not being an elitist or sticking to his promises, then one must rely on 9 year old arguments.

When guilt by association is brought up I simply hold up a mirror to the forum.

The article states the guy possessed 100k in stolen artwork. Not like he tried to blow up a police station.

The article is from the NYDailyNews. I would take it with a grain of salt. The Tri-State area's lefty rag.

Obama's presidency is almost over, and guess what? He didn't display any extreme left blow up the government actions, so you can stop holding your breath, I think we're in the clear.

It's now time to discuss how this goes against your very argument of Trump not being an "elite" and how he really has no intention to drain anything.

You are obsessed with the swamp. Every appointment-association is a frog, snake, catfish, alligator, or turtle to you. If every appointment was outside the Beltway might howl about a lack of government (swamp) experience. It's a coup de tat of bankers and generals!!! I think his cabinet is very balanced with the only notorious swamp dweller being Elaine Chao (not diminishing her abilities) who seems to be a DC power player. She was a cabinet member with Dubya and married to Swampy Turtle Mitch McConnell. If Trump had stacked his cabinet with only Chao-esque Beltway insiders I would be pissed and feel he is not keeping his promise to DTS.

I'm "obsessed" because it was a big selling point, it was on the list of why folks voted for him and he's filled it entirely with people who have their own personal agendas that will gain from their position. It's not just "beltway insiders" I'm worried about. And frankly they're not the ones you should be worried about either.

You are obsessed with the swamp.

Excuse me, did we not have posts here from individuals who rationalized their vote for him on the basis of him draining the swamp?

I mean, did we all imagine that?

lol

i didn't know video proof of something occurring had a partisan bias now.

and, uh, the guy is a known member of the Gambino Crime Family. But hey, what would a developer and Atlantic City casino owner from the 80s know about the mob? It's all a lefty slant.

Can't one of you Trumpets just once say "hey, ya know what? guy's a shady dude, and frankly even we're a little nervous that he's in over his head... but as a conservative and republican i just felt that all of the potential court openings in the next 4 years were too important to allow a democrat to be in office."

i can at least respect that. the constant defending of his character is just silly. guy's a sham.

The checks and balances. They are starting to disappear.

The last two administrations have done a fine job hacking away at checks and balances. Unfortunately, I don't see a reason why the executive overreach trend would turn around now.

House Republicans have reversed course on the whole "gutting an ethics committee" thing. Oopsie, we didn't mean for the public to find out about that, maybe?

Maybe because they realized it wasn't so sneaky after all, and they'll try again when we're all focused on Trump's latest Twitter bullshit.

Your favorite propagandist Sean Hannity flew to London for an exclusive interview with Assange in the Embassy. It's on tonight at 10 pm.

In the teaser Assange said the DNC and Podesta hacks were not from the Russians nor any state actor for that matter.

We might get to find out who the father is !!!!

2017 is about to get real spicy.

Are we ever going to see an end to politics as a team sport? Or was it always like this and the Internet is just exposing and/or exacerbating it?

I mean, I've never had an issue calling out any of my own, but that's because I demand accountability and I believe that honest, constructive criticism creates better politics and politicians. If I support Candidate X and that candidate does something that I consider counter to my principles or morally reprehensible, I will call them out regardless of how it will affect my "team".
