Yeah I wouldn't say there was no evidence. Maybe "conspire" is a strong word, but certainly seemed like a systemic bias at the least.

Speaking of which; it's interesting that after days, they start to show up within a 30 minute window

 My tablet is finally letting me back into I-Land as a poster! So, then...

I love this new "Democrats shouldn't oppose/fight EVERYTHING that Trump does" meme.

Coming from the people who literally obstructed every single thing Obama did for 8 years. Can't make this shit up if you tried.

we call them Vichycrats.

:hmm: IF trump is going to keep Medicare, Social Security (including SSD -disabilty) espicially without reductions and at least keep Medicaid & Food Stamps as they are now...

I want Democrats, Bernie and any Republican that doesn't have ice water in their veins to support that!

Each of the already threatened groups have a subset of poor, poor-disabled and poor elderly hat will be doubly threatened, along with those who fall in these general categories.

Remember Conservatives and now a ?majority of Republicans have been salivating for decades to totally gut
FDR's, LBJ's Social Safety Net which can hey have been snipping away pieces of once Reagen got into office!

It's only ironic if you're gullible. There was no irony here.

The left was BEGGING. Enlisting Hollywood. Citing Alexander Hamilton, because ya know he's so hot right now. Michael Moore was trying to rally his fans. Networks were hyping up the high drama. Will they do it? Will they save us?

Meanwhile the actual GOP electors were getting death threats. Needed police escorts in some spots.

In the end just 2 guys in Texas. (One of which is a serial liar who claimed to be a 9/11 first responder )

MEDIA FROWNS

But wait there is 5 more . . .

I find it incredibly Ironic

"Drain the swamp" was a refrain of Donald Trump during the presidential campaign, but Newt Gingrich says the president-elect "doesn't want to use it anymore" now that he's knee-deep in alligators.

"I'm told he now just disclaims that. He now says it was cute, but he doesn't want to use it anymore," Gingrich, who informally advises Trump, said Wednesday on NPR's "Morning Edition."

Well done guys. Drain that swamp

Still not irony, read past the headlines.

Plus, I didn't realize Giuliani was from Texas?

The left was BEGGING.

Bullshit. The media was being inflammatory. You saw folks here perhaps admitting to what was wishful thinking. That's about it.

Enlisting Hollywood.

Again. Inflammatory media. Maybe you're gullible, but this presence of an expected Trump revolt... nonexistent.

Citing Alexander Hamilton, because ya know he's so hot right now.

Yeah, that was me. If you're going to mock me, I suggest remembering that you're doing so when quoting me. I pulled a quote from Wikipedia about the founding of the electoral college. It was an interesting quote. You can also quote me (and Headache a few seconds after my post) immediately striking down an electoral revolt as a pipe dream the day the media caught hold of the idea.

Michael Moore was trying to rally his fans.

What fans? Who can you cite here or anywhere that is actually a "fan" of Michael Moore? The man hasn't been relevant since GWB term 1. Again, media inflammation to generate clickbait. You're a sucker if you bought into it.

Networks were hyping up the high drama. Will they do it? Will they save us?

Finally. Now we are talking. The news networks manipulating folks emotions are not indicative of what folks believe.

It's not ironic. If it were ironic, there would be an understanding that people felt the electors were going to revolt against Trump. People by and large have accepted the shitty reality that Trump will be president. They didn't hold their breath until Monday. You might think it's ironic, but that's because you bought into the media craze.

If you want irony that stretched beyond the media, Trump's victory could be described as irony. He wasn't supposed to win by all counts. Models had him unlikely. Vocal support had him unlikely. Popular support was against him. Yet, he still won. That, superficially, can be described as irony.

Actually it was in the celebrity video. Wasn't mocking you, because I haven't been on FYM in 2 weeks because I had to serve time for trolling with Youtube videos. I was able to log on at again 7:10 pm.

Sorry for the confusion. Nothing personal.

What I see pointed to from Trumpets and BoBers looking to push this whole DNC-conspiracy-against-Bernie thing, far more than anything else, is the emails among DNC staffers bitching about Bernie. What they fail to mention (or just don't know) is that those emails were sent in May 2016, after it had become mathematically impossible for Bernie to capture the nomination. A little bitching about someone who refuses to concede after it has become mathematically impossible for them to win is, frankly, completely understandable.

And in reality, as the election showed, a good chunk of the US would have been horrified if Sanders had won. Whether he's a better bet than Trump or not, it would still be a deeply divided nation.
There is a real problem here, and it's in most western democracies. Decades of bipartisan politics is destroying the whole point of democracy. Instead of voters exercising choice they blindly vote their team. They don't think critically. They don't contemplate alternatives.
I'm not sure having more parties, or empowering minor parties, really makes much difference. We have 4 good sized parties in nz but most people blindly follow one of them no matter what.
The problem is us. The voters. Not main stream media or political parties or donors or email misuse. It's the population deciding they don't give a shit because, you know, she'll be right.
Until it isn't all right.

Hey Trump wants a Muslim ban again.

Once again, especially now that they're back, great jobs electing this guy, fellas. Really, just bang up work.

But come on, those people that proudly casted their votes are small government, and are fighting for religious freedom... oh wait

Trump has officially booked his entertainment for his Inauguration... he will follow up a president who had U2, Beyonce' and Springsteen (among others) with the Beltawy's favorite 80's cover band, The Reagan Years, who will split time with The Mixx, another cover band... who are actually just the same cover band, but this time they play more than just 80's.

Yes, this is true.

I'm hoping playing Trump's big Inauguration Ball will be a good warm up for that gig at Champion Billiards Sports Cafe.

I'm so frustrated and done with this. On that conversation of splitting the country into smaller nations, I'm all aboard. This is insanity.

Can you just imagine how wonderful it would be?

They could walk around with a pistol strapped to their side, go to their coal mining gig, then the bar afterwards, and when there's an altercation they have a duel to death and everyone chants "second amendment". It would be nice and white, students wouldn't have to worry about science homework ever again, school would be just about how you feel, if you feel 2+2 is 7 then by golly it is. Women could go back to cooking or being whores. It would be like the western movies but with smartphones.

Of course when their smartphones eventually die, they won't be able to upgrade because they don't do globalism. So all those pony express jobs will be coming back.

I feel so cozy just thinking about it.

We had a nice run, but our interests don't align anymore. I mean at least in the 80s we could all agree that Russia sucked. We can't even get that right anymore.

United States of Soviet Russia

Dude tweeted about nukes just hours after Putin discussed the same issue.

For all these American flag wearing, red white and blue bleeding GOP people, why do they accept a president who looks up to, praises, and quite possibly beholden to a known enemy of our country?

What would Ronald Think???

The United States must greatly strengthen and expand its nuclear capability until such time as the world comes to its senses regarding nukes

What? I don't understand. What does that even mean? We already have the second most, and the guy's in third aren't even CLOSE to having as many. And...let's be real...it only takes a handful to destroy the planet...how many do you really need?
