Is there any chance this news about Russia can invalidate Trump's win? I don't know what kind of means they could use to fix this, since there really isn't a precedent for this sort of situation (that I'm aware of, at least), but I'd have to think this sort of serious and deep meddling would demand a recount or a redo or something.

So glad Hillary did not win, So glad Trump won a landslide of 57% of the EC vote.
You must be slow on the uptake since I said from pretty much the time he was elected that those of us who are leveraged in the market are going to do very, very, very well.

I understand why YOU support Trump. You're a wealthy old white man. You'll do great.

The other Trump voters on the board here are the chumps who will raise your (and my) net worth exponentially because they just don't get at all what this is about.

Plus, deep can afford to send his barely legal crowd to Sweden for abortions, just like it's 1967. So he's good to go.

Kind of appropriate, though, given the trolling.

No, matching trolling with trolling isn't the answer.

It's kind of demented really that the same Trump supporters who seem pathologically obsessed with the "socialist threat" of George Soros are willing to put aside their decades of commie Soviet paranoia because it happens to suit them that Putin altered the election outcome.

Trump is now leaning towards Rex Tilerson for Secretary of State, the CEO of ExxonMobil.

Quote:
Should Tillerson be nominated, his business ties, too, will come under scrutiny. Exxon Mobil has operations in more than 50 countries and boasts that it explores for oil and natural gas on six continents.

In 2011, Exxon Mobil signed a deal with Rosneft, Russia’s largest state-owned oil company, for joint oil exploration and production. Since then, the companies have formed 10 joint ventures for projects in Russia.

In 2013, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Tillerson his nation’s Order of Friendship.

But U.S. sanctions against Russia for its incursion into Crimea cost Exxon Mobil dearly, forcing it to scrap some projects and costing it at least $1 billion in losses. Tillerson has been a vocal critic of the sanctions.
Keep draining that swamp, asshole

Tillerson is a strange choice, but he's probably at least a reasonably sane individual. Perhaps over-inclined to promote O+G interests but also not a wacko bird. Romney would be the far, far superior option, but I'll take what I can get from our esteemed President-elect.

It's official.

Nice to know that he's not going to pretend that our national interests and the interests of big oil aren't exactly the same.

Also, Exxon actually got rid of domestic partnership benefits. Like, they kicked people off insurance rolls.

Bye bye planet.

Good job, Trump voters.
