Yeah, Ted Nugent could disagree with those women without telling them to suck on his machine gun and calling them bitches and whores. He loses all credibility, if he ever had any to start out with. I don't care what kind of little show he's attempting to put on, it's still revolting and most men of decency don't speak about women in that way. Maybe he has some sort of problem with women in power, other than Dr. Rice I suppose.

If this person Nugent (who I had never heard of before this thread) was a Muslim who had made threats against US politicians he would already be in custody, and if he was a leftwinger who had made threats against Republican politicians, then, at the very least, he would have been paid a visit by Homeland Security.

Nugent is either a terrorist himself or an advocate of terror - there is absolutely no moral difference between what Nugent has said and what Bin Laden is supposed to have said in various speeches threatening Americans, whereas on the other hand, there is an enormous difference between what the Dixie Chicks said and what Nugent said.

People who support Nugent and defend his comments are at the very least, apologists for terrorism, and people with a very skewed and very questionable moral compass.

People who water down his comments are, similarly, apologists for terror and quasi-fascists.

It's as simple as that.

No, B did indeed leave "whore", "bitch", and "suck on my machine gun" off the menu. It was at the Oakland shows after that business about them busting Bono for vandalism in San Francisco.

And yes, not knowing Ted Nugent is a true blessing.
