We all certainly connect with U2 because they share their soul. I mean, when you listen to a U2 song, you know it cause you feel it inside! It's moving you. And I'm not talking about "christian" soul... And that's what I'm looking for. Your definition of soul and spiritually, did you make it from yourself or did you listen and read a lot of stuff and built one or did you take what other told you for granted or... See where I'm heading?

ok that was bad, probably didn't do my soul any good either.

my perception of the soul is of a guage on my overall happiness in life. it is an entity which takes into account all the different components of my life. for me, the soul is the essence of who i am.
needless to say i have a happy soul as i have a happy life.
i don't think this is really an advanced way of looking at things but i have more or less formulated myself, though i'm sure many others share a similar view. i have read the bible but find little space for myself in there.
